Had dinner here last night and it was amazing. Have visited here a few times and it never lets us down. Food is gorgeous, staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I had the scampi and he had the haggis lasagne and both were brilliant. Despite feeling full I did have the cheese board and it was perfect....

The hotel was centrally located in Pitlochry. It is spread over two sights with accommodation in both. The main bar area was well furnished with lots of comfy sofas to relax in and a log fire. The food there was also lovely. There was a live band on the Saturday night but this didn't disturb our sleep as our room...

We checked into McKays Hotel on Sunday, for a two night stay, and were immediately taken across to the building over the road to our rooms on the second floor (stairway carpet was worn and very dirty). We had a double room which was basically a small attic space with a small window and a tiny bathroom. This one was...

My wife and I visited Pitliochry for a two night stay at McKays Hotel. Staff were very friendly. Our room was in the main hotel and was lovely. We enjoyed our daily breakfast which we took across the main road due to refurbishment in the hotel. We ate in the hotel on one occasion and the only negative comment was...

The main bar is big and serves good quality pub food. Rooms are cosy, clean and well looked after. Staff in the bar / reception were caring and funny. Great place for a few nights. Pitlochry is a good base for local touring.

We received a nice warm welcome and shown to a lovely comfortable room in the annex. Dinner in the Bar/Restaurant was very nice and from 8pm to 11pm traditional music was most enjoyable while sitting on nice soft seating near the bar area. Next morning we had a fabulous breakfast in their restaurant across the road. The staff were friendly...

I had a room "over the road" from the main building and it was fine. Generously sized room with a good sized double bed, clean sheets and towels. Everything I wanted was there and worked, for Pitlochry, the room rate was great value for money. You certainly don't have to go anywhere else very far beyond McKays bar/restaurant for comfort,...
