Service excellent, food excellent. We have just returned having celebrated our ruby wedding anniversary, and the hotel didn't let this go unnoticed as there was a present waiting for us in our room on arrival! This small hotel which I believe was originally a shooting lodge has an old world charm, and in the hall lobby there are board games...

Great little hotel tucked away from the bustle of the Main Street, but just a short walk away. Very historic old house with loads of original features, but sympathetically brought up to date. Staff really attentive and professional, food great. Huge gardens with plenty of pathways through, lovely waves of bluebells right through, resident deer in gardens. Very dog friendly...

Off the main road but well worth it. This was the pinacle of the hotels in Britain that we stayed in over 2 weeks travelling. We had the coach house at the back which included a large lounge as well as a big bedroom and spacious bathroom. Room and full breakfast was 132 Pounds for two - great value. We...

This hotel is beautiful. I felt like I was staying at Downtown Abbey. The hotel/house is huge was a beautiful grand staircase in the middle of the main room. The rooms were somewhat small but very nice and cozy. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Comfortable room, nice location and grounds, dog friendly. Those are the positives. Negatives, the food at dinner was far from acceptable. For starter, salmon & haddock fish cakes, slightly spiced. If I hadn't read that it was fish on the menu, I would not have known. No real flavours coming through, probably too much filler. For main, I had the...

As a returning guest after recently visiting regularly over the last 10 plus years it was simply a joy to return agin to this jewel in Pitlochry. A warm welcome , splendid surroundings , good food and service . For the men there is a problem when the ladies find that not only are there classic shops within Pitlochry but...

Right from the start the friendly staff are very welcoming and professional yet approachable. The hotel is set in acres of ground and you can see some of the local wild life from your window. Although the hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the town you would be forgiven for thinking you were in the middle of know where...
