Came and stayed for the Etape Caledonia and the hotel could not have been better located or more helpful. Breakfasts were tasty and substantial, room was warm and comfortable and the owners and staff could not have been friendlier. Advice and support, including a pump for the bikes and space to store them was all provided. Registration and start for...

We booked at the last minute through booking.com. It was the cheapest available and had good reviews on TA. Conveniently situated immediately above the main town car park. Those of a timid but fit disposition should consider parking there as the hotel car park is "challenging". Very comfortable room with all the usual mod cons. Mega breakfast. Who could ask for...

We spent 2 nights at Carra Beag which was in a central location. The road up to the house from the main street had a slight incline but nothing too strenuous. There was another way to the house (via a large car park and through a gate but the stairs could be challenging to some). The house was lovely and...

We spent two nights at Carra Beag which was in a central position. Our very small room was at the top of a narrow steep stair with no sign of an emergency escape route, it was basically clean but decidedly shabby. Breakfast was ok and host was pleasant.

We stayed here in September 2013 and and looking forward to a return visit. Great view and in a good central location for village with short walk to local attractions. The custom of a port being left out for a evening night cap makes writing postcards at the end of the day extra fun. A lovely classic. My only improvement...

The B&B is situated in the heart of a lively little Scottish town near the Cairn Gorms, the room was large with a comfortable bed, seating and lovely view from a high up position. The ensuite was dated with no basin in with the toilet and shower. There is a comfortable public room with useful literature of the area and...

Carra Beag was very comfortable and the owners were friendly and cheerful. Our room, which was at the top of the house, had excellent views. Breakfast was basic; reasonable but nothing outstanding. The location is convenient for the town centre and local attractions.

Easy to find although parking my large car in the last space in the car park was a touch challenging. Comfortable room although I would ditch the bedspread (personally I just love the look of clean white sheets). Very clean bathroom and the shower was brilliant. My room was on the top floor and I could hear a lot of...
