Just recently returned from a lovely week at Pitlochry with Shearings. Having been entertained and educated by the font of all knowledge Graham our driver. We were given room 111 which overlooked the car park but it also overlooked a lovely view. Room was clean and in a good condition. All the amenities one requires for a lovely stay. Good...

I had read all the reviews for this hotel and felt that I should add one following a visit there this week. On arrival we were met by senior receptionist Arthur and he was so helpful and polite he immediately gave you a good feeling about staff at the hotel. Chris the manager and Diane the assistant manager were both...

Just returned from a 2 night stay here with my husband. On check in we were immediately given an upgrade to a superior room, which was stunning. It had one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. Generally age group of other visitors appeared to be 60+. However hotel has great amenities, gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Which...

Hello there and what a lovely review. Fergus is very pleased with your comments as am I. Something I have just noticed is we have 567 reviews and 500 of them are 3, 4 and 5 star reviews with just 67 1 or 2 stars. it is a pleasing ratio but as you might expect our plan is to keep...

We were really lucky by apparently picking a dry long weekend, in fact on the Saturday we were bathed in sunshine. Plenty of parking once we found the hotel. Reception was quick and efficient, just one set of keys and up to our room. A generously sized room at the side of the hotel looking over the swimming pool roof,...

I have booked this hotel for a 50th birthday surprise for my partner this month. She has no idea this is where we are going therefore I visited while passing by to get a flavour of the reception that she could expect and the lay of the land. To be fair it wasn't very inspiring and I was/am a little...

Hi, thanks for the four star post and I am glad you thought things were mostly good. I'm surprised to read about the cheeseboard incident as whenever I see one go out I always want one myself....I can't because I'm on a diet but there are usually three different types of cheese on there and I will investigate why there...
