Great location for exploring the surrounding Highlands, the hotel is cheap and very cheerful with a great breakfast ,rooms could do with an update and the Wi Fi is quite hit and miss but overall worth a budget visit

This hotel is quaint and charming! The staff are friendly and so helpful, just as others have written. An example.. this morning, we arrived late for breakfast -- a misunderstanding on our part. We were told that it did not matter and were asked what would we like them to cook for us. We were quite prepared to eat cereal...

Booked two night break where we could take our family dog. No problem. Booked in very quickly by very nice staff and told to pay the extra modest fee for our pet on departure. This is not a modern hotel but one with character. It is a bit dated but the reception area boasts a large open fire and comfortable...

I took a family guest there for a long weekend treat. We avoided the Pitlochry "scrum" for Hotel rooms as this was a late decision. The staff were most welcoming and more than helpful .. they were obliging .. (unusual in some places I have stayed!) Rooms were very clean and had tea and coffee etc. My room (no, 100;)...

We booked a two night stay The staff on our first night were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are in dire need of an upgrade The bed was very comfortable but the room was cold. Any heat from the radiator (it is on a timer)went out the single glazed window. The bathroom lighting was not good, the light over...

Stopped overnight heading north on NCR 7. Excellent arrangements for bike storage and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel has character and a splendid dining hall. Very good breakfast. As is so often the case, wanting a single room, mine was no bigger than a cupboard; minimal provision, an afterthought even. Sadly, the shower was poor and...

We visited the hotel with a voucher which included afternoon tea and bed and breakfast. Everything was excellent. The bothy bar is a lively spot to spend the evening and the dining room is wonderfully Scottish!

My wife and I ate in the bar three times during our stay in the nearby caravan site. The first meal was great, the second ok but the third was below par. We found somewhere else. The real ale, brewed in their own micro brewery was superb.

Stayed in room 202 which was just perfect for mum, my sister and I. The room was large with a smaller single room adjacent. Views from the Windows were breath taking (Blair Athol Castle gounds) we stayed on a half board basis and sampled and enjoyed a mix of traditional and modern dishes in the most splendid baronial dining hall....

We booked into this hotel via Booking.com. I was a previously a service man, and Northern at that , so i am used to squalour - but i dont expect to have to pay through the nose for it! This place should be condemned....and will most likely burn down before it can be condemned as the smoke detectors in the...
