We visited on 25th January 2015 with an Itison voucher. A warm friendly welcome. We went up to our room. Clean and tidy but a bit dated. Avocado bathroom suite. The bed was comfy but a bit "springy". We noticed a small tear on the bottom sheet. The hospitality tray was well stocked. Part of our deal was afternoon tea...

Warm welcome every time we have been (6 times now). Afternoon tea is delicious and filling and the evening meals are great too. Had numerous rooms there too and every one of them was dished out with a nice highlandy feel. Breakfast choice was good too, but its the friendly staff that stand out and they always remember visitors even...

A welcoming hotel, very quaint with great hall and roaring fire in lounge and bar. Had a nice afternoon tea but bought in meringue shells spoiled an otherwise pleasant afternoon tea. Meal in bar was very filling and served nicely, we enjoyed the haggis nachos to start. For me it was a very relaxing stay. Bedroom was well presented although...

We stayed here for a night away and chose the hotel because we could bring our dog. We had a nice double room with space for a cot for our baby and the dog - it was a nice treat to be able to bring the dog along with us. The hotel is nice, very grand downstairs and tartan carpets...

Had a wonderful stay at what can only be described as the best New Year Party ever! Caroline and her staff took care of every detail - a great team who make everything just right. Hot Scottish breakfasts hit the spot to start the day off right, through to tasty snacks and lunch in the bar, to most excellent dinners...

We did not stay in this hotel but were forced to eat here as the hotel we were staying in did not do food on a Wednesday night. I had a steak and ale pie with chips and veg and my husband had fajitas. The food arrived 2 mins after ordering it. The pastry was dry as old stick and...
