We stayed at Claymore House for 1 night after doing the NC500. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised to find the beautiful old stone building and stunning gardens that were so well kept. The owners were very friendly, welcoming and really made us feel at home. We stayed in room 5 which had stunning views, large 4 poster bed and...

It's been a few years since we last stayed at the Claymore and we had forgotten what a great little hotel this is. We had room 6 which gave the impression of being recently decorated and not facing the road it was quiet. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and board, hairdryer and the most comfortable...

The decor and cleanliness is second to none and a special mention to Dino and Manny the beautiful natured dogs. Would say it's a home from home, however We...

Booked on of chance on looking from outside, extremely pleased i did. Welcome was excellent, room was better than many if not most hotels I've stayed in. Staff and owners could not have been anymore helpful and friendly. Have rebooked before leaving.

Just back from a 2 day break that now seems like it was not long enough. We stayed in one of the apartments and it was perfect for what we needed. Graeme and Di were excellent and very welcoming. Think my 3 year old reckons Graeme (crayon) is his new best friend. Would have no hesitation in recommending the Claymore...

You can go somewhere and feel immediately at home. The Claymore is that sort of place. The hosts make this place exceptional. Rooms are well appointed and everything of need is provided as standard. Without doubt the breakfast choice is one of the best we have experienced anywhere. Anybody considering this B & B will not be disappointed. It is...

After touring around Europe for a couple weeks, we'd stayed at some great places, but The Claymore is definitely in the three way tie for the best. The location is perfect. The people are wonderfully real and helpful. Seriously, I wanted them to come along and hang out. Something silly, we were really in the mood for a certain movie...

As soon as we stepped into The Claymore we were made to feel very welcome by Graeme and when he saw me with a walking stick he changed our room for one on the ground floor which was extremely comfortable and his local knowledge was invaluable to us. No complaints about breakfast either. We are very much looking forward to...
