Short break to this b&b, lovely warm welcome on arrival and nice staff. Stayed in room 5 and was amazed, very spacious room with a big 4 poster bed. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was good and big selection of cereals, yogurts and big amount of hot food. Amazing view from the front of the hotel the garden looks...

As soon as we stepped into The Claymore we were made to feel very welcome by Graeme and when he saw me with a walking stick he changed our room for one on the ground floor which was extremely comfortable and his local knowledge was invaluable to us. No complaints about breakfast either. We are very much looking forward to...

We have been to Pitlochry a number of times and always find good guest houses but this one is excellent. Our room in the converted outbuilding was large and well equipped. Sofa, coffee table, fridge etc. The hosts were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and very tasty with local produce. We will definitely be back!

We stayed one night in this lovely guest house, to break up a train journey from Edinburgh to Skye, with a four month old puppy. From reservation stage until departure, we were exceptionally pleased with the wonderful service and warmth we were shown. Our stay was very good value for money. The accommodation is set in beautiful grounds, very easily...

My partner and I stayed here for a full week's holiday, and we had a fantastic time. The room was spotless and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious (including great vegetarian options), and our hosts (including the dogs) were lovely. Highly recommended!

Stayed in one of the apartments while visiting The Enchanted Forest. Beautiful spacious apartment with top class furnishings. Very clean and everything you need. Graeme and Diane were, as always, the perfect hosts. Been to stay in either an apartment or their guest house for last 5 years so would obviously recommend.

Beautiful house, comfortable and elegant room, great breakfast and kind hosts. We were very pleased with everything! I really loved the conservatory, facing, the garden, which is where breakfast is served. The hotel is situated on the main road, so there's easy access to everywhere, as well as a parking lot.

Everything about our 4 day stay at the Claymore was excellent, from the friendly welcome to the wonderful breakfasts (try the whiskey in the porridge!). The location is brilliant - on the fringe of Pitlochry so just 2 minutes walk but not in the bustling centre. The views from our bedroom window were breathtaking autumn colours. Incredibly convenient for the...

This was just the kind of place we were looking for. Clean, comfortable, and moderately priced. We were in the coach house annex. Nicely updated. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Do recommend. Pet friendly. I would stay here again! And again....

My wife and I visit Pitlochry several times a year, and always stay at the Claymore. Sometimes we use one of the Claymore luxury self catering apartments, but for our annual October break, we always book Room 3 in the B&B. This room is at the front of the building, which affords splendid views of the colourful gardens which Graeme...
