This is my second time staying here and my stay was excellent again. I had a lovely quiet bedroom at the back of the house on the first floor. Decor very good, and exceptionally clean throughout. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. I would highly recommend the salmon fishcakes for starters, and for dessert a lovely...

Originally built in 1795, this stone house has dining and sitting rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. It is walking distance from the train station and only an 11 minute ride to downtown Glasgow. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom state of the art. My room came with a flat screen TV and free WiFi. A...

When up in Glasgow on business i have always stayed in the hotels at the airport. Nothing wrong with them at all but this time around the prices for some reason were eye watering so I looked elsewhere and found this hotel which will now be my go to hotel next time I'm working in the area. The house (because...

The hotel should be asked to supply a map, & alternative postcode if sat nav is being used. We were endlessly sent around a circuitous one way system as the lane the sat nav wanted to use has bollards preventing entry! That over the hotel has a Victorian size, decor and furnishing. Decor needs updating (too dark & needing a...

Loved this old Hotel with wonderful refurbishments. Most luxurious bathroom in our entire two weeks in Ireland and Scotland. Large, spacious rooms. Really wished we could've stayed more than one night. Friendly, welcoming staff and a delicious breakfast.

My wife picked this place because she was interested in the area. We arrived after a long series of flights and ended up not going out at all as we had another flight to catch in the morning. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and nice shower. We had dinner there and since we were leaving early they...

I have stayed here a number of times over the last few weeks from single nights to 5 day stays and have therefore stayed in several of the rooms and eaten in the restaurant many times. Given that I am in the area on business and there are around 45 other hotels nearby approved by my company for me to...

Ashtree House Hotel is a wee jewel in the middle of a busy city. An old building with large bedrooms retaining the original features but with up to date plush furnishings and modern en-suites. It's lovely. I've stayed twice and will ensure I book every time I stay in Paisley. I've had two different rooms and both have been perfect.

The property itself is about 200 years old, so it's to be expected that it would show some signs of age, but the general condition of the walls, ceilings, and windows in the bedroom area is poor. The ceiling in both the bath and the bedroom was peeling, apparently from water damage. The window frames need to be stripped and...

Ashtree House Hotel is situated just off the main street via a somewhat confusing one way system (even with a sat nav!); but it is a delight to the eyes when you arrive. We couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome from our host and the premier double room we had booked was lovely, with views over the front garden...
