Yet another fabulous stop off at this wonderful hotel on our way to Fort William . Myself and my sister who is disabled and needs to take her time were treated with warmth and courtesy at all times . Food was amazing and beautifully presented . Special thanks to our waitress Siobhan for her great service . Would thoroughly recommend to all who like a high standard of service with a smile !

All the food is amazing especially the enchiladas. I hope that John the chef never leaves! I’ve tried other places only because the Abbotsford don’t deliver but nowhere can compare with the Abbotsford !!

I have stayed here quite a few times over the last few years whilst going back and forwards to Skye where I live. I have had two stays in the last few weeks. This place doesn’t look much from outside. It is a tiny bit dated. Don’t let that put you off…!! The hotel is extremely well run. It is spotlessly clean. The food (dinner and breakfast) is not fancy but very very good, and very fresh and NOT pre-prepared processed stuff. Lovely. The staff are an absolute delight. They will do what they can for you and are so polite and friendly… about the best I have ever encountered. The hotel is well supervised by a great brother and sister owner team who are so empathetic and also hands-on. This establishment is a credit to tourism establishments in Scotland. Nothing on the well known and popular island of Skye can rival this place in terms of its service and overall offering, irrespective of what end of the scale it may be on…(ie, posh or basic!) When I do my regular long journeys, I now can’t wait to get to the Abbotsford!!

I stayed at this hotel recently on my way up to the Highlands and had no idea about what it would be like. I had to write this as the staff were SO incredibly friendly, helpful and made me feel totally welcome as a single woman travelling. I felt as if I was amongst friends ....... that's how lovely they were. I ate dinner in the restaurant and it didn't disappoint. Delicious and filling with a fabulous atmosphere. The room was good - if a little tired but comfy and had everything I needed. I highly recommend The Abbotsford Hotel ..... thank you to all the staff x

We stayed here overnight on our way up to Skye. The hotel staff are an absolute credit. All were very friendly and helpful particularly Rose on reception. Nothing was too much trouble. So much so we have booked to stay on our back! Thank you very much . Dinner and breakfast were good as well.
