My wife and I just got back from a two night stay at Glenavon House. The House is impressive from the outside and even more impressive inside. We stayed in the large Lindsay room which had a really nice en-suite bathroom. We were made to feel very welcome from check-in to check-out.The owner Sue was really friendly and went out...

We spent our first night here and this set the tone for the rest of the holiday tour. What a lovely retoured house with a great view and stunning gardens. The room is elegantly decorated, with a bathroom to calm your weary travellers' body with a stunningly lovely bath. We were exhausted after a long flight and slept like babies....

We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast on our last night in Scotland. It was the perfect choice. Set on a lovely property, it was an old converted manor house. Everything was elegantly decorated. It would be perfect for a murder mystery. The stairs tell many stories as you climb to your rooms. Ours had an en-suite bath that...

The place is absolutely breathtaking and the owners made you feel right at home. Staying there made us feel as though we were staying in a castle. The house has incredible charm. We stayed in the Lindsay Suite, which was spacious. The bathroom is beautifully renovated and absolutely huge. The only downside was the water pressure was very light. Otherwise,...

I agree wholeheartedly with all the other reviews that this is a wonderful place. We stayed in a huge bedroom suite complete with window seat and sitting area. It was all done up in very nice linens. The ensuite bathroom has a very large tub. We opted to stay here because we could take the train into Edinburgh. Glad we...

What a wonderful place! The owners, Sue and Andrew welcome you in to their beautiful home and treat you as part of the family from the minute you get through the door. You are also welcomed by the two gorgeous dogs (Holly and Herbie) and a rather lovely cat, this is one of the things that make you feel so...

Stayed here recently on business. What a fantastic place! Sue is a great host and justifiably proud of Glenavon. The room I had (Avon Suite) was huge with similarly sized bathroom. Breakfast is an opportunity to meet other guests. I hope to come back and bring my family as it's alovely house with gardens, very quiet too but only 15-20...

We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon trip around Scotland. We were immediately greeted and welcomed into their incredible home. This old home was nicely renovated to have the look and feel of a older large home but with updated living arrangements. We had a great nights sleep in the Lindsay suite and woke to a delicious, traditional...

We stayed in the Glenavon Apartment for 3 nights - we got 3 nights for the price of 2. We had a kitchen, living room, bathroom and 2 bedrooms all to ourselves, spread out over three storeys. Sue made every effort to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The breakfasts were fantastic! Our daughter received an Easter...
