We stayed here for a week for a family reunion. The house is full of old furniture & fittings which add to the charm. After an initial problem with our shower, which was quickly rectified by Declan, our stay was very enjoyable. Breakfast was basically...More
My friend and I had a short stay but it was perfect. Quiet, an interesting house with great character and very helpful hosts. When you pull through the gate and up the drive you enter another time. Didn't hear another soul in the house until...More
I am very glad that I selected this older home for my stay in Ennis. I stayed two nights and throughly enjoyed the beautiful setting. It's 2.5 km (1.6 miles) from the city center, yet it feels like you're km (or miles) outside the city....More

It is probably about 1 mile into town center from Newpark House. Several quests have walked to town while we were there. You could call for a taxi. Your best bet is to contact Declan at Newpark House to see if any buses go to the shopping center about 1/4 mile up the road or how much a taxi might cost. The center of town is a lot of walking, but worth the effort to see all it's quaint nook and cranny side streets. We hope you get to enjoy it.
