The staff of Hostel Cork City is kind and the location is good as you can reach most places in the city center within 5-10 minutes on foot. The cleanliness of the shared bathroom was average. Our room was sparse and supposedly nonsmoking. The smell and the cigarette ashes behind the nightstand told a different story, though. Overall an ok... More

Normally student accommodation but they let the rooms out during the summer , large shared communal living / kitchen area and 2 bathrooms. We where on the third floor but they had a lift (which wasn't working when... More

Stayed here for one night. Great place to stay, the place is immaculate, nice size single room, the shared bathrooms are very clean and very well maintained. The kitchen and living areas are excellent, all very clean with everything you need. Free wifi is great Nice central location, pity that the hostel won't be available until after the college term... I was only in Cork for 1 night & I needed somewhere cheap to stay close to the teain station. This place was perfect! Although the reception closes at 9pm, I was able to arrange for a later arrival time as my train was delayed from Dublin. The receptionist, Heloise was incredibly helpful & understanding, & she made me feel... More

The rooms were extremely nice and well valued for having private rooms with shared bathrooms and kitchens. There is no hostel feel though as you only share with 2 other rooms. It is close to the city without being too close.

I stayed in this accommodation for 2 weeks last summer. I was a bit tentative about choosing it, as hostels can have such a bad rep, but money was low at the time and I had no choice but to go for it. I was pleasantly surprised and was in no quandary about returning for 2 weeks again this summer.... More

I have stayed at the Blackmore Court for more than 6 weeks. The place is centrally located, just a minute away from Grand Parade and popular clubs Electric and Soho Rooms. There is a Hostel and short-term accomodation available in the same building. The Blackmore Court has been refurbished couple of years ago and now equipped with all modern cons,... More

Upon arriving, the staff was incredibly nice. We stayed in a private double room with a shared bathroom. The room was very clean. Bed was okay, not the best but not the worst. There is a full kitchen which is great! The shared bathroom was not what we preferred but it was fine. Only complaint: the tap water was brown... More
