Very efficient and friendly staff. Stayed over the Easter wknd. Room was clean, large and loads of towels! Room service was great and meals were extremely generous. Only thing was that the pool was a bit small but for the one or two times the kids used it( 10 & 17 year old) they were happy. Overall a very god...

We travelled to Cork on Good Friday to play in a Basketball Tournament - and stayed at the Maldron Hotel, which has recently had a refurb. It was excellent. The Staff were very accommodating, especially as we had some dietary and timing schedules to adhere to. I would highly recommend the Maldron for your stay.

Went for two nights with 3children, nice big room. Hadn't been cleaned though dust everywhere. Dirty stained carpet. Receptionist was ok, but not really that helpful and didn't go out of her way. Not a good service hotel, I asked for some extra milk for tea making in room and a staff member brought up 2little sachets!!!! Excellent breakfast and...

Nice family room 1 double 2 single beds. Very similar to a premier Inn family room. We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast. Cork city is roughly a 10 min walk or hop on the cork city tours bus located just next to the hotel at Shandon bells. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice couldn't fault it at all....

Bar closed two hours earlier than advertised. We had to order room service at ridiculous prices. Staff on reception rude about this. The man who delivered the room service was nice. No maid service until 1630, so had to use wet towels after bath. Won't be staying here again.

I cannot praise the staff at the Maldron enough. We arrived late, in heavy rain following travel delays, and were immediately made welcome. The room was spotless, and large for a room at that price. As for the pool, it's a really good size and you can get a seriously good swim. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range...

When booking, I was told that I would be given an executive room (I hadn't asked for one, but wasn't complaining!) and I was happy with the price offered as a business rate. I checked out what "executive" meant by the hotel's standards and was pleasantly surprised to see that I could expect robe, slippers, toiletries, paper delivered to room...

The Maldron is an ideal base for exploring Cork, most visitor attractions are within walking distance as is the city centre. Hotel staff are friendly and helpfull and the breakfast choice was brilliant.
