Oh what a hotel. It is so beautiful. Very old style with a modern touch. The interior design is amazing. Who ever did it needs a gold star. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room, although looked out at a wall was so comfortable and warm with a very comfortable bed. We had dinner in the bar and sat...

The lifts aren't working and I had 6 flights of stairs and 3 corridors to get to my room. There was no bath in the room and the shower was a wet room.... which made the whole area wet after showering even close to the toilet. The breakfast was very poor. 3 poached eggs that were all different levels of...

My mother, sister, and I stayed at The Ambassador Hotel for 2 nights during our weeklong stay in Ireland and we loved it. We had room 107, which was perfect because the lift was being replaced and my mother couldn't walk up too many flights of stairs. The room was spacious and gorgeous with a fabulous balcony. The beds were...

Was here over the bank holiday weekend for one night. Hotel isn't too far from the train station and city centre which was handy. Room was nice and clean and the coffee machine in the room was a nice touch. Staff on the front desk were very friendly both on check in and check out. Only downside was that the...

Just Came back from a weekend stag break in Cork and stayed at the Ambassador, although it is up a steep hill it has brilliant views over the city and surrounding landscape. it is set in a quiet residential area, and is a 5-10 minute stroll away from the bars pubs and restaurants in the town. Staff are ultra attentive...

This hotel booking was made for me for a 2-night work trip therefore wasn't of my choosing. I'll start with the positives: - The staff are very pleasant - The views over Cork are beautiful - The beds and bedding are very comfortable - For the most part, the hotel is clean. For me, that's where it ends: - The...

The Hotel Ambassador is a lovely hotel and the 3 different receptionists that we met over our stay were just lovely, polite helpful and so friendly. Our room was lovely with a great view over Cork city and we were delighted that we had made the right choice. Well that was until we went down for our evening meal in...

Very accommodating breakfast for people with food allergens, very pleasant and helpful waitresses. The lifts were being repaired and the hotel carpark was very busy so was a little stressful but staff were very nice and helpful. Rooms very nice. Had a balcony with great views of cork. Could have thermostats in rooms to control heating,

Stayed in Ambassador Hotel with my husband for a 2 night over 50s package. Receptionist was very friendly and when we got to our room, we had an amazing view over Cork city from the balcony. Even though hotel seems to have been refurbished, I thought our room needed a little TLC i.e. the carpet was old and the furniture...
