My boyfriend and I visited Cork for the weekend and stayed here. The setting is beautiful, the house is very very beautiful! We had a large room with two windows, very secluded from the main road, could hear the birds sing in the morning. The staff were very friendly, gave us plenty of suggestions of places to visit. We also...

I was at a wedding in Michael Flemings yesterday and everything was amazing. Firstly, we were given a very warm welcome in the reception hallway. The residence is oozing classy old world charm. The food is Michelin star standard. The staff were very friendly and couldn't be more helpful. Michael himself even joined the wedding party for a short while...

This restaurant is cork's best kept secret. We came here for my husband's birthday because we were looking for something special. From the moment we walk in the door we knew we would love it! The quaint bar is so nice for a pre-dinner drink as you peruse the menu. We had a lovely glass of prosecco here and were...

Sadly we did not have a good stay. We were travelling with relatives and unfortunately they did not like or 'get' the place. Their room was in urgent need of modernisation and had not been cleaned properly. My wife and I were delighted with our room. The main disappointed was that the restaurant was not open for the first night...

A large house built in the 1700s. Not a hotel. At best, a guesthouse. Only thing renovated was the bathroom. Everything else was a dump. Located in an industrial area. Best I can guess is the owner is a chef who caters events. Bed was hard as a brick. Nothing quaint or nice about it. Modern hotel within an half...

We stayed at Flemings while attending a wedding nearby and wasn't looking for anything too special but was pleasantly surprised with everything. When we arrived the house was quiet and there was no sign of anybody but was still very welcoming and like going back in time to an old country house. We were shown to our room which was...

Stayed at this historic 18th century house for two nights. The rooms are basic but was cool to stay in a classic house built in 1750. The only minus is the WiFi barely hits. But...The owners Michael and Eileen could not have been more cordial. Michael hung out with us one evening and we had great worldly conversations. He also...

My wife, her sister, brother-in -law & I spent my 65th birthday in Flemings -staying overnight & eating in the restaurant. On arrival we were met by Michael, the owner - we were made immediately at home - you are treated like friends - nothing is too much trouble. We were served tea, coffee & cakes in the lounge. We...

Flemings is located close to, but not in downtown Cork. Michael, our host, was wonderful. The breakfast he prepared for us was served with such elegance. He is a wonderful Chef. The room was huge and the bathroom was newly renovated. He gave suggestions on where to eat and directions on how to find a restaurant in Kinsale which is...

Was at a family lunch here recently. In Tivoli just outside Cork City, this is a period residence and it a very interesting and unusual venue. Staff are very friendly and chatty and interested. Fiod good with an interesting menu. We didn't stay overnight unfortunately, but it is a lovely place.
