Hello! We will be arriving by bus to Cork. Is it a far walk to the hotel pulling one piece of luggage? Do most people walk to the Hotel from the Bus Station? Thank you for your assistance!
It is further but not sure how far😊

We have searched for a few days for a Hotel close to the Centre and The Metrepole looks great on the photo's. I am just wondering if a Signature double room is big enough or is it just a basic room? Also are there any quieter rooms perhaps on the top floor. we have never been to Ireland and are really looking forward to our short break.
I had booked a single and it was small, the bed was pushed up against one side. there was little space to put your toiletries in the bathroom. They do have larger rooms as I asked Rosa at reception. Have a look at Jury’s Hotel too. Hotel prices in Ireland are cheaper on a Sunday night so this may influence the planning of your stay.

There are lots of bars in Cork city that are well worth visiting. We only had a drink from the bar with our evening meal. Room was a good size, compatible to other similar hotels.
