Awesome spot, bit hard to find even with the directions but other than that we couldn't fault it or Tony & Avril-the whole of Ireland is hard to get around-hardly any easily visible street signs. What an amazing spot, so close to town, awesome large room & bed, bliss. They both had loads of great ideas to make our one...

My husband and I stayed here one night on a break from a month long camping tour around the UK and Ireland. We didn't want to go back out into the nasty wet and cold weather. Tony and Avril were friendly, warm, welcoming, and helpful, but not intrusive. We stayed in the annex a few doors down from the main...

This was the first B&B my husband and I stayed at during a 10 day trip to Ireland, and it really set a high standard for the rest of them to follow! Avril and Tony are so welcoming and sincere. They provided us with a map, answered all of our questions and gave us directions to take a scenic drive...

Couldn't say nicer things about Tony and Avril and every interaction we had with them. We were traveling with 4 adults and stayed in the annex (3 doors down from the main house). Although there were other people staying there at the same time, it was very quiet. We enjoyed the lovely back yard as well as access to a...

Fernroyd House is all about making you feel at home in Cork City. Tony and Avril are an amazing couple with good hearts and good advice. Fernroyd House is in a great location, a bit off the beaten path, but right next to UCC. Ask anyone and they can direct you if you get a bit lost, like we did....

We loved this B&B! We stayed in the triple room (one double bed, one single). We had plenty of room for our heavy luggage and the size of the room was perfect for us and we had a great view of the cute backyard. Everything was updated but charming. We even loved the keys. It was easy to find with...

Avril and Tony were wonderful. Tony took time out to make suggestions for our very short stay in Cork as well as for all the towns we were to be traveling to after. Breakfast was outstanding, from the full Irish, to the porridge. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds. We were a short walk from the city center and...
