Stayed for one night in this hotel and enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the room. The bed was quite comfortable too. The views from the terrace are great as you can see almost all of Cork, including the river, this is a great advantage but if you need to walk to the hotel prepare for...

I recently went to the Montenotte Hotel for a big family celebration. The décor was lovely and plush, really comfortable without being too posh. Really super venue for families with young kids. Firstly the service was second to none, they were really attentative and made sure the kids got fed first. The food was really tasty and well presented. Sometimes...

Ordered the gourmet burger yest. evening and it was the furthest thing from that. One of the party recommended it as she had it previously and we got what i am certain was a frozen burger, flat and rubbery textured. Not at all like what she had eaten there before. And to charge €16.50 was a disgrace. Told the waitress...

The room we had was a family 2 bedroom. It had the odor of stale cigarette smoke in the living/ dining area. This was booked specifically as a non smoking hotel. We had to close windows due to people smoking out of windows in neighbouring suites. Have much higher expectations at this price point.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The lady on the front desk was beyond helpful. Not only did she upgrade us for free, she also threw in breakfast as well (which was fantastic). The room had beautiful views and was within easy walking distance of the city.

Used the pool and jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and all were lovely. Only thing took from it a bit was alot of swimming lessons for children going on and the shouting from the instructor kinda interferes...

Myself and my wife recently had the privilege of spending a weekend at the new look montenotte hotel. It`s fantastic to see a building restored to such modern luxurious standards and yet retain the charm of a different era. The quality of the food and service made us slow to leave. The hotel is far enough away from the hustle...
