The place is very near center, railway station, Road junction, you can walk up to the center of town in 5 minutes. Clean and Quiet, room are pleasant. If you like rugby, you can have a long talk with the house keeper, a previous great player, an advised specialist.

The owner is lovely! An amazing welcoming and he took the time to answer all my questions about the city and transport. He makes the best breakfast, and his freshly made orange juice is the best I have ever tasted!! The hotel is around 2 minutes from the train-station (by foot) and maybe 10-15 minutes from the bus station (by...

I stayed with Jerry from Sept 13 till March 14 as I was working down in cork. First of all I found the house and rooms very homely. Then you have Gerry the owner. Words can't describe how helpful and kind Gerry is. My room was always cleaned and fresh towels every day. As for location it's perfect for anyone...

The last, and only disappointing B&B on our holiday. An early flight meant we had to leave before breakfast. Our "host" was not even prepared to leave us the ingredients to make a sandwich and a cup of tea before we left. No tea making facilities in the rooms.

We enjoyed our stay with Jerry at Number Forty Eight. He was very friendly and provided a ton of information about the area. The house is definitely older but it has a lot of character. The room was a decent size as was the bathroom. He also has laundry facilities that he offered for us to use if needed. There...

The bed& breakfast accommodation is alright for just a few days. It could become difficult staying there longer. The whole house is fairly narrow and inclined (so are the rooms as well). Don't expect too much. It is clean and the walking distance into the city of cork is not far. The host is very nice and funny though. Breakfast...

We stayed at Number 48 B & B during our honeymoon. The place was very nice and had great service. We had a delicious breakfast while we chatted with Jerry, the owner. What made this an extra special stay was Jerry's kindness and help during our stay. We managed to lose our rental car keys while in Cork. We had...

We stayed with Jerry for one night in late May. Whilst the breakfast was adequate and Jerry is a nice guy with advice on where to have dinner and places to visit in the area, the rooms are small and at 40Euro per head, are simply overpriced. This stay was part of a 4 week driving tour staying mostly B&B's...

Jerry is a wonderful host. Great breakfast, great conversation, and very knowledgable of the City of Cork which was quite helpful for us girls looking for a warm place to stay when our first choice had no vacancy. Albeit the rooms were small and the building was a bit creeky, we stayed for the hospitality and left feeling refreshed and...

Jerry Spillane was incredibly kind and even offered to drop me to my Conference and to a meal another night. The Irish breakfast was a most generous portion and the house was right beside the station which made it really convenient. At € 40 per person per night it was very good value.
