We stayed at The Diamond Lodgings about 16 years ago, while biking around Ireland, and it was brilliant. So on a recent trip back to Donegal we decided to book again. We weren't disappointed, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The accommodation is a located right in the centre of town and perfect for a short stay. The owner, Bridie,... More

We stayed for two nights recently and it was great. The hostess was very welcoming and gave us great advice on places to go and things to do. Room was very comfortable. Parking was convenient and free. Wi Fi good. The only reason I can't give five stars is that the rooms are two flights up which is hard with... More

Really enjoyed staying at Diamond Lodgings. The location was great right in the centre of town so we could walk to restaurants and pubs easily if we wanted to listen to music after dinner. The room was nicely furnished, comfortable, quiet and warm. It was on the third floor with no lift so a lot of stairs to negotiate with... More

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I enjoyed a room facing the Diamond, and had no issues with noise. the bathroom was long & thin, but hot water flowed and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Free car parking was included behind the lodgings tea & coffee was available in room, but they do not offer breakfast. There were... More

We stayed with Bridie as we were in the town for a family party. The lodgings are very clean and very convenient for the town centre. An extra plus is car parking at the rear controlled by a barrier with a remote control for guests use foc. Would recommend.

We booked this accommodation very last minute for our recent trip to Donegal as a lot of the nearby hotels were fully booked. We weren't sure what to expect as it was so reasonably priced (70 euro for Twin room) but we were really impressed. Room was immaculate and very clean and beds were really comfy and the sheets were... More

Diamond Lodgings is on the 2nd (3rd) floor right on the main square with very convenient, free, parking. Our room was very generous for a family of 4, with a large bathroom. Very clean. Bridie is a very nice hostess who makes the extra effort to make sure guests have all they need. No breakfast, but try the Blueberry cafe... More

We stayed here for one night. Brodie greeted us warmly and gave us great suggestions for dinner and breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was basic but functional. A nice place right in the town center, just a few minutes walking from everything.
