My husband and I stayed at The Cove during our honeymoon trip to Ireland. We arrived before check-in, but Joan was nice enough to let us check in early. Our room was comfortable, and everything about our two-night stay there was great. Breakfast each morning was amazing, and Joan had excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions to visit. We had...

We had a wonderful stay at The Cove after the drive from Dublin to Donegal Town. The accommodations were pleasant and comfortable. It's a short drive in to Donegal from the Cove so it's convenient, yet feels as if we were staying out in the relaxing countryside. We stayed three nights and had a terrific visit to Donegal Town and...

My husband and I stayed at The Cove for one night as we were attending the country music weekend in Donegal Town. We were a bit late arriving but Liam and Joan didn`t seem to mind as I had phone ahead of arrival. Liam was very helpful and professional and gave us the number of a local taxi company. The...

My husband and I had a wonderful stay! We arrived a little later than planned thanks to traffic, but Liam was waiting for us and took the time to show us a map of the local area, with recommended sites & places to eat. That was much appreciated after a long journey! The B&B is just a 5 minute drive...

We only stayed here one night, but we really enjoyed our stay! Joan is so nice and helped us find/call for a tire service since we blew it out. The lodge is very nice and the room is lovely and spacious ! Breakfast was delicious too! Less than a 5 minute drive into town. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Cove Lodge for 5 nights and enjoyed them all. Firstly, the sight seeing we did was excellent - and that was due to Liam (owner of the Cove Lodge) taking the time to give us a map and explaining the best sites to visit. Then it was the town. Beautiful, easy to get around, plenty if...

The many favorable reviews of the Cove Lodge are on target -- comfortable, peaceful, tastefully furnished, excellent breakfasts, and welcoming and helpful hosts. It was our first stop on a driving trip around western Ireland, and after an overnight flight and then a drive from Dublin airport, it was wonderful to find a warm greeting and an exceptionally comfortable bed...

Our family stayed with Joan and her family at Cove Lodge and were treated like royalty. The house was beautiful, and it was an easy trip into Donegal for dinner, some great live Irish music and a pint or two. We learned that Joan's family and our family both came from the same small town in County Cavan. This was...

The Cove Lodge in Donegal was the best B& B we stayed in during our three week travels in Ireland. Even though we arrived early our host was very happy to book us in gave a complete run down on attractions and map information plus a couple of local tips. The room was spotless and very comfortable breakfast was excellent...
