Stayed just after what I would presumed to have been a busy easter period for the hostel. Shared a private double with my girlfriend which included a basin, double bed with fresh linen, towels and a table. Toilet was always clean and the shower was what you would expect from a hostel. Staff were always friendly and available for when... More

It was advertised as a bed and breakfast and it is far away from that. It is even painted on the wall outside the house. The mattress was pure torture, we basically slept on springs. The shower was disgusting, scummy and dirty. The manage was nice though but would never use them again.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Our Room no. 2 had a really huge and large antique pine bed for 2 which looked a little bit scary. The mattress wasn't the best to sleep in, like other users already stated. But since we only stayed there for a few hours sleep and left for the whole morning and day for... More

This hostel is easy to find, there are a lot of good pubs in the neighborhood. There are also shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. It's close to O'Connel road, where the bus from the airport drops you off, so that's a plus. The room wasn't really big though, there is only a common bathroom, which to be honest wasn't really... While the location of this accommodation was great, and the manager friendly enough when we arrived, this was the only positive aspect. The shower situation was awful. There was no hot water in the shower - if there was any it meant turning the heat up so much that only a trickle of water came out, and the water always... More

Hey People! Dublin is a great city and the people are very friendly there. The Holyhead Hostel. Positive The location is great and the staff is very friendly. Negative Mattresses were very old and they had bedbugs in it. The Holyhead promised via Facebook that I would get some money back for the inconvenience. But they won't react on my... More

We came to hostel after 10pm and they still had one double-room vacant. Hostel is located just 1km (or even less) from the Temple Bar - Dublin's night-life centre. The beds were very clean and comfortable, white duvet and pillows smells with freshness. There were fresh towels on the bed and that was a very nice surprise too. The staff-guy... More

I was very disappointed to find the room in a quite filthy condition. There was no window and also no ventilation system which lead to an accumulation of mold all along the ceiling right above the bed. Same in the showers. They went into the room (without asking even though i left my phone number) and cleaned some of it... More
