Such a great spot to explore Dublin from. It's a lovely old building, with really nice cosy well appointed rooms. Nespresso machines are a nice touch. The restaurant was lovely, particularly if you like seafood. Wine list was excellent. The Urchin bar downstairs is nice and bright, and the staff everywhere were very good. Highly recommended overall.

I would like to congratulate the cliff townhouse in Dublin for converting me from a TripAdvisor viewer to a reviewer .my wife and I checked into our park view double room on Tuesday 8th .the website description is of a spacious double windowed room with luxurious fittings. These rooms must have been taken elsewhere as we were allocated a cramped...

Stayed here for a couple of days at the beginning of May and my husband and I really enjoyed it. Our room was beautiful, great amenities, and great location. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was really great. Only downside was having to climb so many stairs because the elevator doesn't go all the way to the top...

Fantastic location with friendly staff. Rooms are very good and the breakfast was superb. We would stay again. One thing is the lift cannot meet all rooms so if you have any difficulty carrying a suitcase up stairs let them know in advance.

Our 1st time to visit and definitely not the last. Started our evening with a delicious cocktail downstairs and followed on with some excellent food upstairs. All reasonably priced and all served with a smile. Will return very soon.

The Fitzwilliam Hotel recommended the Cliff Townhouse as a great seafood restaurant. I loved the Mothers Day Menu and so enjoyed the choices for this special day. The beer battered fish and chips with mushy peas were delicious! Sadly the cost of my three relatively small glasses of wine exceeded the cost of the food!!

We have stayed here a few times. Great location and well appointed rooms, although a bit cramped for a family. (The single pull out bed is too small for grown kids!) Staff are friendly, very helpful and there is discounted parking parking nearby just off St Stephens Green. Breakfast is a treat with lots to offer including the standard homemade...

I've stayed in most hotels around the D2 area, but had never stayed here until now. That's my loss. What a great place to stay! The bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I've slept in for quite some years, in a spacious and classy room, with a well stocked Nespresso machine. Excellent wifi, even though I was on the...

Seven of went here for a very special birthday. From the moment we, the first couple to arrive, walked in the door we were "greeted" by one of two guys in a half hearted way. One lad just looked up and stared and then we instead went to the other guy. He asked us would we like to go downstairs...

Two friends and I had a very average meal in the Cliff Townhouse recently. While it's a very pleasant dining room, and the food was well presented, the quality of the meal itself, in terms of taste, was very disappointing. I'm sorry to say that I could not recommend a visit.
