Don't bother. Not welcoming, scant service and dreadful breakfast but elderly lady lovely. Guaranteed our reservation with a credit card and assumed we could pay with the same. It was made very obvious cash was expected, luckily between the two of us we had enough. On our departure there was nobody around to say as much as a goodbye.

We found the two brothers, Sean and Donal, to be extremely friendly and helpful. The bed was large and comfortable and the ensuite had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful with a great selection of hot food and drinks as well as pastries. We'd definitely stay there again Phil and Carole.

Stayed here our last day in Ireland, wanted to be close to airport... great room, very quiet for being in city, clean, comfortable, less than 20 minutes to airport, owner packed us a "carry-out" breakfast since we had to leave early, very nice, would highly recommend! We also visited some sights in Dublin during the day, used public transportation, which...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would say disregard any negative reviews as we have nothing but nice things to say. It's not a 5 star hotel but it's a wonderful family-owned business and classic B&B. Mr Boyle was nice from start to finish. Our flight was late and we notified him so he was able to wait for us....

We've stayed at St. Judes on prior trips to Dublin, and we'll stay again, for good reason - David and his mother, Aida, make it worth the visit. From the excellent bones of this Dublin Green Door Victorian, to the quaint, compact neighborhood, to the location close enough to the LUAS and close enough to UCD and close enough to...

My wife and I froze ourselves at night and Mr Boyle and staff were nowhere to be found--neither in person or by phone. From our brief meeting upon entry, it was clear from his manner we would not see him again, and we could hope only for the minimum service. He failed even to meet that expectation. Only as we...

Our last night of a fantastic Ireland trip was at St. Judes B+B and was a big disappointment. Owner David Boyle met us when we arrived. Aside from his unwelcoming and curt manner, we were not happy with the accommodations. Almost immediately we were told breakfast would be served the next morning at 9am. This was the last of three...

We stayed at St. Jude's on the last evening of our Ireland trip and had been in contact with the owner regarding check in time. We found it just fine, we were able to get parking right out front, and got checked in. The owner was lovely and I found out it was actually her son that I had been...
