The hotel was really good as we were going to a gig at the 3 arena, I booked an executive room which was very spacious and comfortable however when staying at a top hotel It is the little things that make the difference. Paying approx €300 for a room and getting charged €2 to charge my phone and €5 for...

We stayed here for two nights last weekend, and enjoyed everything about the hotel. We had a fabulous room on the sixth floor, with a very large balcony. Breakfast was excellent. Some staff at reception had difficulty explaining about the car park underneath, but, we went down there and sorted the queries. Great location, an easy walk into town, or...

On first seeing the area that the Gibson hotel is situated (A building site) we were a little concerned, tower cranes, heavy trucks lots of workmen around. However once inside our opinion changed. Check in is situated on the third floor but there are lifts and escalators to get you there Great check in staff. Great rooms, quite large with...

AWESOME hotel. Very modern, very welcoming, would definitely go back to stay again. Great staff all-round, the breakfast is superb and the bed is omg, so comfortable (especially after a 30 hour flight!). The only let down will have to be the dinner at hemidemisemiquaver, menu is a bit confused and execution seems confused too.. However, don't let that stop...

Visited this hotel at the weekend to get a quick bite to eat before attending a concert at 3 arena with my daughter. The hotel was extremely busy but the staff were excellent. They made sure everyone had a seat and in most cases people were happy to share tables. In this location a lot of people were similar to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chic and understated with a music pedigree that runs deep, the gibson hotel Dublin is the ultimate urban retreat. Music lovers, art junkies, food fanatics - whatever your passion it's right on our doorstep. We do sleeping, meeting, dining, gigging, touring, wedding and relaxing really really well. We mix all these things with a fresh, energetic, slightly off centre approach and we know it works. Exhibitions, supporting local artists, urban weddings and the odd celebrity are elements of what makes us different to the normal Dublin Hotel. You will find our staff friendly, responsive and happy - there is a secret to this that we can't possibly share. The gibson hotel is the ideal location to explore the city and planning your stay is easy. The M1 and M50 are 8 minutes away via the Port Tunnel and we have ample covered parking for our guests. With the luas stop right outside our front door Connolly train station is only 8 minutes away and Heuston train station is a short 20 minutes from the hotel. The Luas will take you to the City centre in 10 minutes or if you prefer to take in the views of the River Liffey a brisk 15 minute walk along the quays will bring you to O'Connell street, the heart of Dublin city. Great beds, 100MB complimentary WiFi, a gym, relaxation area, restaurant, bar and meeting space are all part of the deal. The gibson hotel is modern yet comfortable, it's different and it's better, it's large, it's friendly and it's a building that is alive with great people from the moment you set foot until the moment you leave. ... more   less
