This hotel used to be a real destination in Dublin when it was known as The Burlington. The building and location are still ideal, but the DoubleTree ownership could do much better with the quality of the furnishings in the rooms. Very frayed bathrobes, torn-open duvet covers, shower heads inconveniently positioned (see images). How to wash the top of your...

Great hotel in a perfect location. One thing we arrived early and had to wait for 3 hours to get our rooms, which I understand but never pleasant when that happens. Our rooms ended up facing the construction behind the building which made for resting or sleeping in the afternoon impossible, hence the lower rating. Other than the loudness, great...

Hi John L, Thank you for taking the time to share your review, we hope that you enjoyed your time in Dublin. The Hotels check-in time is 3.00pm and as always it is our priority to allocate guestrooms as soon as possible and away from any noise where possible. As the neighbouring building site is not under the Hotel’s ownership...

DoubleTree by Hilton was a very good experience - check-in was flawless via the lovely lady behind the counter who provided cookies to us upon arrival - a nice touch. The room, while a little small was nicely decorated and felt rather business-like, however came equipped with quite a large television. The view was of the front which really wasn't...

Hi Geoff M, We are so pleased that you had the opportunity to explore the neighbourhood surrounding the Hotel and that you enjoyed a walk on the banks of the Canal. Thank you for your feedback regarding our guest bathroom facilities. Showering on your knees does not sound like a very comfortable experience. We would very much like to identify...

This is a reasonably typical Hilton Hotel with regards the room - clean, well kept etc. the bed was comfortable enough but the pillows were actually terrible. We both woke with neck pain after the first night - they definitely need to invest is a range of pillows and stop using the small 'full of air' feather pillows that compress...

Stayed here on holiday in August. Hotel was full of conventioneers for a meeting. Very convenient to the tourist sites in Dublin City and only a few blocks from the grand canal. The lounge has Guiness beer on tap in the evenings only. Hot items in then evenings include fried cod and salmon. The wines were very nice and they...

We used Hilton points to book this hotel for two nights and found the room to lack nothing - spacious, bright, excellent TV, high-speed wifi, and modern bathroom fixtures, although the toilet didn't flush without leaving rather objectionable objects in the Bowl! We came here to see Dublin and were disappointed that it was a 15 minute brisk walk to...

There have been very few hotels in which we have stayed, where we simply cannot find even a small fault - this hotel is one of them. The check-in was professional, efficient and friendly.
