We arrived with a high school class at the Ashfield house and were introduced to the basic rules by a nice bald guy at the reception. We had a couple of special needs concerning the accommodation and they were met without trouble. We also got good recommendations concerning local eating and drinking, the free museums and where we could go...

The Staff member who greeted us was so nice and friendly! He had his hands full with a couple of check ins, and some rowdy school kids that stayed there as well - but he treated them so cool and with respect. I take my Hat off to you dear sir! The location is the best and closest to a...

Ashfield Hostel is good budget hostel in the city center of Dublin. It is located too close for bus stop and for Trinity college. Nice staff, clean kitchen, excellent music in reception area and breakfast is Ok :)

Although the bathroom and showers are small, everyting is perfect. Good beds, option to store luggage secure and safe under your bed and also being able to rent a locker. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. I had to leave earlier than expected and I even got a refund for the last night.

I transferred to this hostel after staying 3 horrible nights at the Avalon Hostel. So going into this I had low expectations for Dublin hostels and wasn't expecting anything spectacular. Upon entering the facility however I was pleasantly surprised! Every issue I had with Avalon was non-existent here. The beds are comfortable, the showers are very nice especially because there's...

Connor was just a story telling history book with so much things to tell about everything ! ( lots...

Our 6 nights in the hostel were really interesting to be sure. Renovations were in progress including taking up old carpeting, laying down of new wooden floor planks, and of course, painting. A work in progress is the best way to put it. Our front desk contacts were really helpful and ready to point out some of the local sights....

Quiet comfortable room, friendly staff, nice breakfast and facilities right in the city centre :) Perfect for sightseeing and to start trips to anywhere, even outside of Dublin. The Liffey is right across the street, easily reachable on foot just like any other places worth to be seen when you visit Dublin.

The personnel were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the public guest room was really nice and large, a great place to meet other guests! The sanitary was a bit outdated in our room but it was clean. Overall we had a great stay!
