Very friendly staff and could answer and help with any query we had about going places or places to go. Superb breakfast and for Dublin City was a great sized room with bath and shower. Would definitely stay again but unfortunately not in same room as we were above reception and can hear every conversation even late at night so...

Can't get over that the Charles Stewart hotel are still advertising pictures of rooms that look nothing like what they are. Our experience was a dirty, tiny, closet of a room up 4 floors with no lift. Window was cracked and bath stained. Avoid if at all possible

My two teenagers (16 and 17) and I stayed for a week at one of the Charles Stewart Apartments, just a few buildings down from the main hotel. The entry of the hotel is older, this is not a "fancy hotel" if that is what you are looking for. We rented an apartment with a kitchen, a double bed, single...

No iron in room - no PHONE in room either! Poorly fitted furniture, curtains falling down. Grouting in bathroom not fitted on floor. Room was quite clean, but difficult to clean a room with poor quality fittings (skirtings missing / gaps in furniture, marks on ceilings etc.

This is our 4th stay at this hotel over the past couple of years and we cannot fault the room, service and breakfast! The location is really central with a 10 min walk to Temple bar and close to buses, restaurants and pubs! The staff are really helpful, the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable and the breakfast is great!...

Loved this B&B! It's an old building so you're going to deal with some old building issues but for me that was part of the charm. Spacious and clean rooms. Stored our luggage for us when we arrived well before checking. Guided us on nearby places to see and eat. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Breakfast (extra cost) was to...

We stayed for 2 nights in April. The hotel is in in a great location. Buses stop outside, the airport taxis are a 2 minute walk away and the main area is only a short walk. The staff were also friendly and helpful. Sadly the location and staff are the only selling points for this hotel. The room had a...

I have stayed in The Charles Stewart for couple of days during my visit of Dublin in April 2016. Hotel location is excellent, close to the O'Connel street and centre of Dublin. Bus for Dublin airport stops in the front of hotel. Hotel interior is old and needs renovation, but rooms and bathrooms are clean. No the elevator, which can...

If you do decide not to heed the many warnings and stay here yourself beware room 108; clear plumbing issues made the toilet hard to flush, then left the room smelling like a sewer. Every time the sink/bath/shower or toilet was used what can only be described as a noise similar to that of a pair of trainers in a...
