Lovely people, great location, quick and easy for Dublin city centre via the Dart, but far enough out to be relaxing and quiet. Walk down to the beach - bracing in November but worth wrapping up for. Afternoon tea was a delight, best scones ever!

Jamie W. was on point to find our accommodations in Dublin, a daunting task since I was the comparatively seasoned traveler. Previously, I stayed at the Castle, old and stodgy but close to the heart of the city, and the Beacon, hip and trendy but way down south in the suburb of Sandyford. He found the ideal compromise in the... More

Only had one night here, but would have loved more. Excellent hotel with cute rooms in a beautiful old house. Only a block away from the Irish sea, where there is a sea walk trail. Tram stops are nearby that take you right into the heart of dublin. Food was delicious and staff was always nearby to help.

We stayed here on bank holiday weekend Oct as my husband was taking part in the Dublin Marathon. The owner and her staff are absolutely wonderful. Welcoming and endless offers of tea, coffee, water.. The breakfasts are superb. Continental breakfast has an amazing selection of fruits, nuts, yoghurt, muesli, brown soda bread, mini croissants. It was substantial and of excellent... More

We enjoyed our stay Aberdeen Lodge. It was a 15 minute bus trip to Dublin's city center but we didn't mind and we enjoyed seeing a different area with beautiful homes, delicious restaurants, and shops. The little village of Sandymount is a short walk and there are great pubs and restaurants.

I felt like I was staying at my grandma's house, with very loud creaky floors. A family-run place with cats wandering around the dining room, and carpets tattered by their claws and in need of carpet cleaning. Breakfast was okay. This was our last stop on a five-star hotel tour, so perhaps we were jaded by that, but this was... More

A lovely hotel with even lovelier staff. We were made to feel very welcome, rooms were spacious & clean even with the travel cot up for our son we had plenty of room. Within easy walking distance of the DART visiting both the city & the seaside was easy. Would return again just got the peanut butter cookies.

We just got back from a stay at Aberdeen and could not be happier. Ann and her staff provide incredible service - arranging cabs, getting us in quickly after an overnight flight and late evening cups of tea. The breakfasts are outstanding. The place is clean and cozy and located slightly removed from the chaos of downtown in a lovely... More

We stayed here for our first time in Dublin as a couple. We had booked it using a Virgin Experience Voucher and weren't too sure what to expect. I had looked up pictures and reviews online and whilst it seemed great I was still somewhat apprehensive. I needn't have been as we were made to feel incredibly welcome from the... More
