We travelled to Dublin for a concert and needed somewhere to stay. We've stayed in the Sandymount and Ballsbridge areas before and were keen to stay there again. Aberdeen Lodge was perfect for our needs - not too far from the airport (via the air coach) and a 5 minute walk from Sydney Parade DART station. From the moment we...

From the minute you walk in you are treated differently. Your bags are taken to your room for you, you are offered tea, coffee and scones in the sitting room, while the owner talks to you about things to do locally as well as in Dublin Center. She provided us with a map where she took the time to circle...

Aberdeen lodge is an attractive 4-square Victorian mansion set in an upmarket road, 10 minutes walk from a DART station to get into the centre of Dublin and 10 minutes walk from Sandymount Village with its pubs and restaurants. Beautifully decorated in Victorian style, immaculately clean. Good sized bedroom with good bathroom attached. Good breakfast - no other meals. Attentive...

My wife, daughter, granddaughter, grandson and friend had the Aberdeen as their base for several days recently. Before they even arrived Ann was very helpful with questions typical first time international travelers always have. Weather intervened as their travel began and changes were needed regards pickup , lost baggage, etc. All handled graciously. More turmoil ensued as my wife happened...

We were new to Dublin, only wanted proximity to UCD. This place is a gem; the neighborhood is pretty affluent and so lovely to walk around in. And you can easily walk about 1/2 mile to the village of Sandymount; 3 pubs and as many restaurants. Staff at this hotel were extremely nice; even offered to be a friend to...

Lovely people, great location, quick and easy for Dublin city centre via the Dart, but far enough out to be relaxing and quiet. Walk down to the beach - bracing in November but worth wrapping up for. Afternoon tea was a delight, best scones ever!

Jamie W. was on point to find our accommodations in Dublin, a daunting task since I was the comparatively seasoned traveler. Previously, I stayed at the Castle, old and stodgy but close to the heart of the city, and the Beacon, hip and trendy but way down south in the suburb of Sandyford. He found the ideal compromise in the...

Only had one night here, but would have loved more. Excellent hotel with cute rooms in a beautiful old house. Only a block away from the Irish sea, where there is a sea walk trail. Tram stops are nearby that take you right into the heart of dublin. Food was delicious and staff was always nearby to help.
