This hostel is in a perfect location, only a short walk to the centre of the city! The facilities were very clean and staff encountered were all very friendly and super helpful. The room we stayed in was a tad on the small size (for four girls getting ready in the morning), however perfect for what we needed as we...

The location isn't even as good as mentioned by other travelers. You still need to walk 10-15 minutes to the heart of the city. The room was not very clean. My bed was squeaky and a bit dirty. There were not enough power outlets (2 in a 4 bed room near the toilet far away from the bed). The wifi...

The location is very good, close to the park and city centre. That is pretty much it for the good stuff. The beds are uncomfortable, the place in general feels cheap even though it's quite expensive as compared to other accommodations in Dublin. The staff seems not happy to be working there. They charge for lockers, towels, and everything extra....

Experienced a hostel for the 1st Time ( was the oldest occupant) for the weekend to see the Leinster v. Wasps EPRC Rugby. Really designed for young travellers and foreign visitors but at a VERY affordable price. Knew I was in a shared room but wasn't quite prepared to be sharing a room with 11 others in Bunk beds on...

The hostel is about to get renovated, so there was always a possibility that you had to take different stairs to your room. However that was not a problem. The hostel is huge and really central (at least central enough to get everywhere by foot). They offer free walking tours, which I can recommend. We really enjoyed our tourguide Ali....

Lovely hostel with a delicious little cafe. Rooms were comfortable and clean and it was well staffed at all hours. We appreciated they use of their lockers for our belongings until Check In time and the location is a great central downtown location.

Stayed here for 3 nights with a friend while we explored Dublin. Location was great, very central. We had a twin room with our own bathroom which was sufficient. Could clearly do with updating but it did the job! We were very rarely in the hostel other than sleeping so it was enough for our weekend. Staff were friendly and...

Location is good, less than 10 minutes walk to Temple Bar area. Room was very small, slept 3 but even 2 was tight. Showers and toilets very clean and staff very helpful. Close by to restaurants and cafes.

We arrived in Dublin early and although check in at the Avalon Hostel was not until 2pm they let us use the lockers to put our cases in which was helpful for the small fee of 2 Euro per day. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms were fine, we booked 2 beds in a 4 bed...

The location could not be better and the staff was really helpful and nice. Pretty much everything else had something bad about it 1. The rooms were very small to have 4 beds with almost no room to leave our bags 2. No lockers or any secure option included with the price to leave our personal items 3. Wall outlets...
