We stayed at the Skylon for my Fiance's 30th birthday. I emailed the staff to inform them of this and was amazed by the effort that had been made by the staff. When we arrived we had been upgraded to a lovely room and found a birthday card and chocolates in the room. We were

The Skylon hotel is special. They treat guests so nicely in every way. Special mention for Noel who has to be the kindest in the city. This hotel gives you true Irish country hospitality in the heart of Dublin.

Is it worth getting a breakfast? Is it free for kids?
No I would not get the breakfast, very expensive for what you get. We went across the road to a café and got a lovely breakfast for a reasonable price. I cant remember the name of the café but it was directly across from the hotel

17 euro to Trinity College and 10 euro from O’Connell Street back. Next time, if there is one, I’ll get my own taxi and not ask the hotel to book one.
