The hotel itself is lovely, doesn't look nice from outside but inside is very pleasant. Rooms are well kept and very spacious. Downside was the noise going on a floor or so down having just got in from a very early flight the lovely receptionists allowed us to check in early as there was a room ready. I understand having...

This is essentially a lovely hotel in a good location, about halfway between the airport and the city centre. Would have been a clear 5* review. But... Got up in the morning for a shower before a speedy departure. Had to jump out of the shower before I was scalded by the insanely high temperature. I turned the temperature gauge...

Dear Cescalam I am deeply saddened that you 5 star stay was greatly diminished by the issues in the bathroom. There has been a breakdown in communication that I take full responsibility for and wish to offer you a full heart-felt apology. I would be eternally grateful if you would return to the hotel; I will personally look after you...

We recently had a Sunday afternoon dinner for our family at this hotel. Very relaxed warm atmosphere. Great food and excellent service from friendly staff. Busy but not crowded. We enjoyed our stay and were not rushed out in the evening.

Well, what can I say, was in the area with a friend and needed somewhere to drop in and get a quick snack and park up for a wee short while at a reasonable price. Top marks to the barmaid, quick efficient service, and gorgeous soup and warm roll served in the lounge. It hit the spot!!! But we hold...

This is our second time visiting Dublin and we were more than impressed with the service and experience we had at the skylon. The hotel is friendly, professional and well presented. We shared a room between 3 and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and space in the room and 3 full size beds. We ate breakfast both days...

We came in around midnight for a 1-night stay between flights and were very tired. The desk clerk, Nick, was very welcoming and friendly and took us and our luggage to our room. When I wanted to tip him he refused! My first taste of Ireland was very positive and I hope to be back one day!
