My first girl's weekend away and we found the Skylon to have the best prices and the best reviews. All were right and we were so blessed by our time there! Jannie was really helpful and kind to us, as were all the staff, and we so enjoyed our time there. We will definitely be back!

This was a 24 hour trip to bury and uncle and the family chose the Skylon as the base to host the post burial meal. It's only 10/15 minutes from the airport so is very convenient to get to. If you are driving there is on site parking. There are many bars, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. If...

The hotel was clean and staff were all very pleasant. The rooms are slightly dated with dark furniture but good sizes. The rooms were cleaned daily and the hotel has good links to the centre. Good selection of restaurants over the road from the hotel for those arriving to the hotel. Would I come back- yes I think I would...

Stayed for one night in January to link up with some former students from my time as a VSO in Uganda. Easy access from the town centre by bus. Room comfortable. Dinner and breakfast package very good value. Liked the water in the room, but alas no Irish Crisps. Only minor criticism is the public areas need a more regular...

Last night we were down for food and drinks in the bar and the staff took special effort to recognise my grandads birthday and have always taken care of us over the years! The new bar/ restaurant is fab and Noel...

4 of us stayed overnight in a family room booked through Hotwire and we were very impressed! The crisps as well as water in the room was a nice touch. We ate in the hotel bar and while the main course was lovely the desserts could have been much better. Sean the barman/night porter was very accommodating and looked after...

Dear Ninastradbally, Thrilled to read your "lovely stay" comments and that you enjoyed one of our many family rooms throughout the hotel! We get tons of positive comments on the complimentary bottled water and crisps in the room too so that's become a "staple" here at the Dublin Skylon! Glad to hear Sean took great care of you and we...

I stayed here for four nights. The hotel is a 4 star and the reception area looks like a 4 star. I'd say my room was well equipped but needed a fresh paint/decorate! The TV cut off the screen a bit at both sides which was a bit strange! Shower was good and free water and crisps was a nice...
