If you go to Dublin, I really recommend staying in the Clontarf Castle Hotel! I went to the Castle because I wanted to have dinner with my friends in a special and unique place and, on the spur of the moment, we decided to check in. The receptionist Marcello was so kind to take us in a tour around the...

This hotel is a very good possibility to explore Dublin. Easy to reach the centre (bus 130) and located in a nice quiet surrounding. We took our dinner in the Knight's bar and it was georgious! The staff made us a warm welcome!

First time to Clontarf Castle, what an amazing place to stay. Loved the atmosphere and I can't begin to describe how fabulous the staff treated us. The attention to details did not go unnoticed. Loved ending the evening in front of the fireplace.

Arriving not really knowing what to expect we found ourselves in an oasis of calm competency. Helpful friendly staff, clean rooms. Like a well maintained Irish Hogwarts with open fires, wood paneling, interesting nooks and crannies and suits of armor. But also lots of parking, great restaurants and no dementors.

Clontarf Castle Hotel was beautiful and serene but far from town. The staff was friendly, the food very good, and setting was serene. The downside is it is far from town and taxis were slow to come. I was there with my sister and there were limited rooms with double beds. It is a great hotel for a romantic get...

Every part of our stay at Clontarf Castle was magical! Starting with the friendliest attendant Marcello who was kind enough to show us around the place and explain its fantastic story to the delicious breakfast the next day. To spend the night in a real Irish castle was absolutely the highlight of our visit to Dublin!!! Most definitely recommend it!

We recently met some friends in this hotel and had drinks and some food in the bar. The bar was really nice and comfortable as was some of the seating areas in and around the lobby and reception areas. The staff and service was really good with a number of the staff engaging very positively with our group. The drinks...

A charming hotel with excellent, friendly staff, in a pleasant residential neighborhood of Dublin. Nice trails for running or walking along the waterfront nearby. Easy to get the bus or taxi into downtown. I would definitely stay there again!

This was not the first luxury hotel I've experienced but it was the first that I would describe as warmly inviting and comfortable. Vast amounts of natural light, windows that opened, and great plumbing were huge surprises for castle dwelling. My grandest praise is for the staff. They were always nearby and anxious to help. Their thoughtfulness was such that...

Absolutely loved this place - reception staff excellent. Food in restaurant was excellent. Room beautifully decorated and decor throughout was just fantastic! Only reason i am giving 4* is for the noise from the staff moving bins outside our room several times - this was compensated on checkout with our drinks free which was very kind. Will definitely stay again.

“The rooms were large and comfortable - we had our 2 children - it was huge and beautiful. I wished it had more nights there. There was a large comfy chair in there. Very luxurious. Down to the shampoo and toiletries - very nice.”
