We paid in advance to include breakfast and we were happy about everything. After a ferry ride from Holyhead to Dublin and arriving at the hotel about 9 PM, it was such a relief to be at such a nice place. We had a reasonably priced snack in the comfortable bar area before going to bed in a very nice... More

11 of us stayed here for an important birthday for a family member. The bus from Central Dublin dropped us at the edge of the hotel's impressive grounds. The hotel is a sympathetic modern extension to the castle. Our double room.was nicely furnished with a really comfortable bed. A kettle with good instant coffee was complement by a mini bar... More

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and found the hotel and food excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff from reception to the chambermaids, but in particular Keith & Marta in the bar were extremely helpful, friendly and very professional.

Stayed in the clontarf castle for 1 night, and parts of the hotel are impressive to say the least. As you come up the drive the hotel looks stunning, and the entrance and reception areas keep the theme up well. Check in was quick and efficient. As you head to your room the castle theme ends and you could be... More

We stayed here overnight before flying out of Ireland. It was a very nice hotel, but we didn't stay long enough to truly enjoy it or its ambiance. I would love to go back. The grounds are nice and there are lots of cool decorations. If you're looking to stay in a castle in Dublin, this is the one!

This was a very nice hotel, great location and very friendly staff. I would suggest to make the short trip to the little fishing town of Howth. There are bus stops and dart stations within walking distance ftom hotdl.

Stayed here for just the night. I would say probably the most luxurious hotel room I've been in; the bed was very cosy and the room very modern but stylish. Staff were friendly and good craic. The food was exceptional. I could not fault this hotel and look forward to returning.
