We stayed two nights on our own on a reservation our travel agent made; it was the least expensive room, 'classic' I think it was called; very fine and neat, just had some older fixtures like water radiators, etc. The next stay was one night with CIE Tours in a 'superior' room I think it was called; a little more...

This hotel was fantastic with great service and onsite bar/restaurant. Although you are not staying right in the middle of town you are only a 15 minute walk or 5 mins on the tram. The rooms were well looked after and good value. The bar has a great selection of food and is always busy so the atmosphere is great....

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ashling. Good location, easy to get to, drive in and out of. Parking underneath. Four of us in one room, which was a great size. Plenty of space for luggage, (we had many cases),. The beds 2 singles, 1 queen, were very comfortable, good pillows. The bathroom was great. Plenty of space on the...

Stay was ok, there were little things that bothered me like the weird front desk promotion when we arrived. The clerk really wanted me to read their food menu as I was checking in. He was talking really fast with a script of what he was supposed to say so I was a little frustrated with that. It wasn't a...

Family of 4 spent three nights. Hotel is very nice. Room was four beds in a row so a little tight but otherwise nice. Security interesting as room key was required to enter each floor as well as door. Hotel is right on train line, but train is a little pricey. Museum of Decorative Arts/Collins Barracks is a block away,...

Stayed at The Ashling on October 3, 4 and 9th, 2015. The front desk was very helpful, the restaurant and bar had great food and the beds were very comfortable. Only about a 20 minute walk from Temple Bar area and across the street from the train station. Everything was very close by and easy to access.

Friendly staff, very clean and modern, best breakfast in Dublin! I have stayed in many places in Dublin and this is almost as good as Brookes in the centre of town only a 3rd of the price. Only down side is location being further away from centre than what you think. Upside is the Luas tram is outside so for...
