We had requested a room with not too many stairs and quiet ....we got one our of 2. We had an ensuite room at the front facing the road and it was noisy and it was not a weekend. We go to bed fairly early but it was so noisy and the room was so warm I needed a window... More

Not luxurious but comfortable, good value friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Rooms small but comfortable and beautifully warm when it was very cold in Dublin during our time there. My only criticisms were the shower - When I had a shower before 08:00 it was not hot enough, the water pressure is a bit low and the shower head... More

Stayed at Celtic Lodge Guesthouse for two nights for a business trip. This place is good value for money. The Spire is a 5 minutes walk away and when you leave the guesthouse you find bars, restaurants... The room was basic but more than ok. You can also have breakfast there. Staff was very friendly and always there to help.

Don't recommend this place to anyone. I went with my family and first of all there was no light, the place looked dirty and totally different from what you see in the pictures. The staff were shouting to each other to say something. When we tried to cancell they charged us and told us that they had already given the... More

Stayed here for two nights, in a twin room. First impression was that it was basic, but ok. On closer inspection, although shabby in places, it was very clean, which is the main ask for me personally. The bedding was clean and white, the beds comfy, and the bathroom spotless. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast room itself quite a... More

We stayed here for a couple of days in November. The lodge is very central and the city centre/main attractions are only a short walk away. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are ok, a little tired and we would suggest requesting a room at the back as the front rooms are quite noisy. The breakfast is... More

This guesthouse is very close to the centre of Dublin City, less then 5 mins from the spire. The reception is small but staff is friendly. I was checked into my room in a few minutes. The room had 2 single beds (I had asked for a single) which were comfortable. It had a small tv but reception was poor... More
