Our son was on rugby tour in Dublin so we were along to see him play and chose the schoolhouse for our one night stay. Smart, quite querky with very attentive cheerful staff. Great rooms big beds with crisp sheets and a bit of individuality. The bathroom had one of the most powerful showers ever experienced! Not as close to...

Excellent hotel on the outskirts of a very busy city, short walk into town and a great atmospheric vibe especially with the 6 Nations Rugby on to add to the craic Staff from entering the hotel couldn't do more for our party.

Well what can I say, this hotel is just superb, the rooms, the food, I just cannot fault it at all. We had dinner in the bar & it was superb, I can only imagine what the actual restaurant food is like if the bar food is that good. The rooms where spotless & not your typical hotel room, which...

The Schoolhouse is lovely to look at on the outside and is in a handy location, but my room was old, run down and needed some serious work done to it. It smelled of mould and caused me to wheeze during the night. The sheets did not smell or feel fresh and the room generally felt in need of a...

This is our second time staying. We returned as we had such a good first experience. Our second stay was equally good. Customer service is top class from the person at reception to the bar staff and restaurant staff. All made you feel welcome. They must enjoy working there because they looked happy and that was reflected in the way...

Having read all the reviews I was expecting something really pleasant. What I got was a hotel that was well below 4 stars and seriously needs some money spent on the facilities. Our room had a very bad smell of damp - maybe because the bathroom extractor didn't work and there was no natural ventilation. The room furniture was very...

Great start - welcome note and bottle of wine in our room. Given we were staying 4 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary I am surprised they gave us the room that gets bad write ups. The furniture was chipped, the bed so squeaky and lumpy and the bathroom anti slip mat was so stained - a horrible urine colour,...

Dear Christine, Thank you for again highlighting your experience here at the Schoolhouse Hotel. After corresponding with you by email and speaking with you while you were on the property, I do not fully understand why you then felt the need to revert to social media, 1 month after departing from us. Apart from when you notified us regarding the...

Lovely hotel, friendly and welcoming staff, great breakfast. Good for a night out in Dublin, only a 10 minute taxi ride into the city centre but far enough out so it's not too busy or loud. Bar was lovely for a couple of quiet drinks before heading into the centre too. Had a really nice stay and would definitely recommend...

Well It was just as people said, very cosy, good location with very helpful staff. Our room, which was the Oscar Wild. was modern in decor, nice size with all the requirements for a three day stay. Very Clean and at the time of writing, were just changing all the mattresses, so couldn't of planned it any better. Free Coffee...
