We booked this hotel expecting a quality boutique hotel to celebrate a weekend in Dublin to celebrate my 50th birthday. Sadly our expectations were not met. The room was adequate but cold with only a plug in /mobile radiator as heating, a wheel missing off the diva bed base and wadded with paper as a replacement and a bathroom with...

Super location with free parking. This is one of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed in, steeped in Irish history. Gorgeous bedrooms with fabulous beds (loved the linen quality!. Staff are very accommodating and friendly and the bar food is gorgeous. Will definitely stay there again.

spent a few n nights at the Schoolhouse while working in Dublin. The restaurant and bar are excellent, great atmosphere, excellent fare and excellent service. The room, whilst comfortable - is definitely showing its age and perhaps in terms of accommodation, the place could benefit from a makeover!

Not just another standard room; felt quite original. Mine was in the basement but ok. A bit small. Table too small to work at. Double bed was so obviously two singles zipped together which was a shame. Only thing i disliked was the bits in the bath when i filled it. Once i was sure it was coming from the...

I have struggled to find a decent hotel in or near to the centre of Dublin but I think I have hit the jackpot here. Rooms are good, bed is comfy and despite it being on a main road and having a busy bar the room was very quiet. Parking is more than adequate too, The hotel is in a...

This hotel is in a great location with easy access to the city. The staff are very helpful and the bedrooms are quirky in that they each have a history lesson for you. They are also comfortable and spacious. The bar and restaurant attached are convenient with a great buzz. Breakfast was really good too. I will definitely stay here...

My husband and I stayed at the Schoolhouse Hotel this past weekend and I have to say it was absolutely lovely. Upon arrival the staff greeted us and made us feel very welcome and looked after us very well. Our room was one level down and was really comfortable. The rooms on this level have numbers but also have names....

We stayed for 4 nights in a King Size canopy room which was a good size, clean and quiet. The ironing board was more a 'sleeve' ironing board it was so small. The staff were very helpful and Siobhan in the dining room at breakfast was wonderful. She was always helpful and friendly and it was lovely to chat to...

Stayed here for a 3 day conference at the Bord Gais Theatre as it was a mere 10 minute walk. We stayed in 2 other hotels after this before we left Ireland, and this one actually had the most comfortable bed of all of them, as they were all quite firm. The room was a generous size, including a little...
