I recently spent 2 nights in the Schoolhouse, and enjoyed my stay. I arrived by car and was a little by the size of the car park, but I arrived early enough in the day that I had my pick of places. Considering how close it is to the city centre, it's a huge bonus to have free on-site parking,...

Okay, let's start by saying the people of Ireland could not be friendlier. The staff at Schoolhouse were so nice, I could not get too upset with the story I am to tell. Arrived for Penn State Game and I know they raised the price at this hotel for this game, since value for money was not there. Paid about...

We booked in Dec 2013 with dates of 15 - 21 July 2014. Our reservation was for a Executive canopy suite. We had requested a early check in, as we arrived in Dublin via Westjet flight #17. Hopped onto the Aircoach for the Greystones and headed off to the venue. They dropped us off right in front of the bar....

The schoolhouse hotel is a great value for the money. Charming ambience, extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful personnel. The rooms were fine as was the bath. Remember, it is a non-chain, repurposed, European hotel in a city. So there are differences from room to room. That being said, I would go back again. Service was great, breakfast was great, and...

We spent 3 nights at the Schoolhouse Hotel. The hotel staff were excellent. The room was well appointed and quiet. The hotel decor is "arts & crafts"/"gothic revival" and is a 15 minute walk from the major tourist sites such as the National Gallery and Trinity College. What makes the hotel special is that it is not a "chain" hotel....

We had a big group in for lunch. We had to go and find menus, then we had to go and find someone to take our order. The food to be fair was quick and very good. We finished our meal and again had to go and request Tea and coffee. It left a bad impression on all of us.

Dear Michael, Many thanks for your review of your lunch at the Schoolhouse Bar. Please let me start by apologising for the service you received during your visit. It is very disappointing that although you were happy with the speed of service from the kitchen and the quality of the food that the our floor service was so poor and...

I am very disappointed I have to write this review without having stayed at the Schoolhouse Hotel. For the past 3 days I've been trying to place a reservation for a room for March 2015. I want to make it clear that I have not been trying to get information but actually BOOK the room with my credit card in...

Great hotel and location, but the arrival was rocky. We were staying for 4 days, but when we got there the people in our room stayed late and then stayed over- forcing us into late check-in and an undesirable room. First in the basement and then in a garret room. The staff finally took care of us after showing us...

Spent three nights at The Schoolhouse Hotel and really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are large and comfortable, beds are on the soft side but feel good after a long day of visits. Our bathroom was wallpapered with an old-fashioned design and had an old hardwood floor, which gave it an old-world charm with modern day convenience. Breakfast is generous and...
