Needed a room close to the Mater hospital, it's a great location for there but also short walk to O'Connell Street. Beautiful old building with character however screaming for an update! Rooms are clean but basic, no tea/coffee making facilities or hairdryer, breakfast is extra and considering the price it's a bit of a rip off. But if your just...

Stayed on a 3 night break with my adult daughter. Ideal location. Slightly old fashioned hotel with no lift. We were on 3rd floor which we counted was 79 stairs to climb. Room small with twin beds. Wardrobe doors reach side of bed when open so very snug. Bathroom small but all fixtures very modern. It was ideal for what...

While the staff were friendly the whole stay was a bit of a shambles. They struggled to take the right amount from my card, you cant leave the hotel with your key, you cant even get through the front door unless the receptionist comes and unlocks it for you! The breakfast was very limited and although the one waiter will...

We arrived there later at night after a not so fun "you don't have a reservation with Us" in another hotel (leeson inn) and the staff were really kind with us, they gave us a room that was clean and comfy... The hotel is small so it doesnt have an elevador but it's worth it... :) Location is great! Near...

We stayed at Barry's with children, and got one of their family rooms with a double bed and a single bed. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. The bathroom looked good. There was a carpet on the floor, and it could have used cleaning. When we arrived the room was clean, but exept for daily changing of towels and...

Stayed here recently and the reception and breakfast staff could not have been nicer or more obliging. They went out of their way to help us and make our stay enjoyable.... The hotel would be great IF ONLY THE BOILER WAS SORTED! The freezing breakfast room and lobby meant that staff were working in coats - my advice would be...

Stayed here on an overnight in Dublin. Checked in on a bitterly cold afternoon and first reaction was bedroom was like a fridge. I turned on TV and had a very snowy reception on a very old model tv. I asked for a change of room and was moved next door which was also like a fridge but had a...

Arrived tired, quick check-in but not very inviting, expecting a lovely cuppa upon arrival. Shocked no teamaking facilities... Room very small indeed. Had to squeeze between cupboard and bed to get into bed...sheets and pillows lovely and clean but housekeeping was to a minimum and only came in the once in 4 days... Lovely area and very close to all...

Historic hotel in great location only a short walk to o' Connell street and city centre. Disappointed with no onsite parking and it's a headache to find a space close by, there is on street but is busy and only free 7-7nights. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Noisy road facing room. On the plus side it is near to a...
