The Generator Dublin was an awesome first Hostel to stay in for young people. Service from all the staff was incredible, great location, really nice and clean rooms!! Couldn't fault our stay at all other than it being quite costly for accommodation over St Patrick's week, but that was expected considering we booked last minute. 10/10 would recommend!!

I've been traveling for 3 years and have stayed in many places. The beds were OK and the hostel is beautiful however there is no kitchen and they funnel everyone into the bar. They staff wasn't very enthusiastic. Not sure I would stay again

Decent facilities and decent location. Useless staff, rip off breakfast, charge you to store your luggage during the day!!!! and all the key cards didn't work so people kept banging on the door all morning to get back in.

Me and two friends stayed in a private room for only one night. Everything was fine and the staff was friendly, at night it was really loud because the walls are quite thin. We did a free walking tour which was pretty great and the guide picks you up at the hostel. If you want to store your luggage you...

Nice enough hostel about ten minutes walk from O'Connell St, down by the old Jameson Distillery. The only real thing that let this place down was the indifferent staff that were on reception and in the bar.

Dear Guest. Thank you for taking time to write your review. I am really sorry to hear about your experience. Your feedback is not reflective of our usual standards of service. Tours where booked out, but we asked in adcance per email and they told us, booking in receiption will be no Problem. Double booking of room in one night, a Group of People came in our room one night and tried to occupy our beds. Somebody on the receiption seems to canceled our already booked beds by mistake...

I love the accommodations from the hostel. Very clean with a soft bed, warm rooms and bathrooms, big place to put your suitcases, 2 socket plug and a small light in your bed. I stayed in a mixed room for 8 people. There is a sink with a small mirror, a puff sofa, and a big mirror. The place to...

Mainly it so very very clean! Bathrooms were cleaned all the time. Very friendly and cool atmosphere. Looks really cool. Pretty much all staff were really helpful, the guy at reception in particular. Bunk beds had their own plugs and lights which was awesome and handy. Really sturdy and comfortable. Highly recommend!

You always expect a hostel to be somewhat basic, but as long as it's clean and comfortable then you've pretty much got what you need. But that doesn't have to be all a hostel provides. I certainly found the place comfortable and clean, and our six-bed room, although it felt small at first, was adequate to accommodate us. And en-suite...
