We already knew the Generator chain and we were enthousiast about the quality/price rate, the style and the services. If you are not so young you need to adapt a little bit. Furniture is very basic and climbing and getting down from the top bed is not easy. But at the end you have everything you need and a very...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review on the Generator Dublin. Great to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. The only rooms that have a separate basin is the dorm rooms which do not have a bathroom but there is an abundance of public toilets/showers that are never busy to avail of. I was excited for the comfortable beds, the shower because it wasn't a push one, and because generator hostels tend to be really nice. But when one of the people in the room threw up everywhere, it was so unclean! We got someone to clean the puke up initially, but it was so gross because they left pukey towels there...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review on the Generator Dublin. Firstly I would like to apologise that your room was left in the state it was, I have started a full investigation with the housekeeping team. Would you mind sending the dates of your stay and rough times of the incident to Maureen.meegan@generatorhostels.com. I can assure you that...

Three of us stayed here mid week in March. The two private rooms were basic but clean. I think €88 for a twin private is enough tbh. If you paid anymore I think you would be pretty disgruntled. I have seen the same room for a Saturday at the end if April going for €280 and I personally find this...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review on the Generator Dublin. Unfortunately prices do fluctuate according to market demands but the earlier you book the best price will be available. However I am disappointed to hear of your check in experience - this is not the Generator way and I apologise for that. I have passed your comments to...

Honestly, great stay in this hostel. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean (I stayed in a 6 bed girls dorm), there's spaces under the bed to lock your stuff away and you can come and go as you like. The location is flippen great and the communal sections had a great atmosphere and we're a great place to...

The dormitories at this location aren't up to the standard of other Generator properties. You're really paying for the bar downstairs. There was also little that the staff could do when a large party of drunk guests and their friends came into our room at 1am to continue their party.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review on the Generator Dublin. I am unsure as to why our dorm rooms aren't on par with the other Generator's however I do apologise that you felt the security team didn't help when there was a party in your room. Floor walks are constantly rotated throughout the night and any excessive noise...

50 minutes away from the Airport. It has an amazing bar inside and very tasty burgers. The facilities are clean, and each bed has 2 outlets of its own. Highly recommended. The room had a basin inside but the toilets were at the second floor. Security was great and we had no problems.

I loved it - comfy bed - quiet - cleanliness and everything was amazing - regretting not going on the walking tours as i thought I'd just do it myself because they did look very good - but next time !

We were worried by the word 'hostal' but very pleasantly surprised! Better than a lot of budget hotels is stayed in before. Great vibe! Was fun to all be in a dorm together, like a big girly sleepover!

This hostel was amazing and the best I've been to! The staff was accommodating and the overall social environment made this place outstanding! Everything was impeccably clean! I stayed here with friends last August and enjoyed our stay very much. I loved how the beds had plug sockets attached so you could charge your phone whilst in bed. Wifi is also available and free of charge. The communal shower rooms are also very clean. Not your typical hostel; very fancy but who's complaining?!
