Stayed here for a weekend break and it was a really good stay, the room was very nice and had everything you could need, the shower could have done with some work though but it was a small detail, is some small faults were sorted it would be perfect but for the price and location I could not complain!!

The reviews on here seem mixed? I think maybe the new owner is doing up one room at a time? I was made to feel very welcome by the male receptionist who helped me with my bags, gave me maps, a cup of tea, and printed out a route planner of a place I mentioned I wanted to go to,...

Recently visited here for a long weekend trip to Dublin, both aged mid 20s. We arrived here at 11am knowing that check in wasnt until 3pm. They took our number so they could call us when our room was ready. (This happened before 2pm) Our room was lovely! Comfy bed, big window letting in a lot of day light. View...

I have stayed in many hotels and this place is not really a hotel in my option but a hostel. On arrived we were placed down below in the basement/dungeon. There was not appealing about it at all. The first thing to great you is a strong stench of a smell. The bathroom is something out of the Flintstones. I...

Stayed at this what I can only describe as hovel. We were placed in a room in the basement without natural daylight and the place smell of human poo. The room was cramped and very basic, the shared shower and toilet was disgusting and old, the lock was broken and the place was very noisy with water pipes making lots...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very conveniently close to the city centre, only a short walk away. Room was clean, but bathroom needs refurbishment. Can be quite noisy at night as train passes close by. Breakfast very basic but filling.

Very good night sleep, welcoming staff, basic but substantial breakfast, clean room. Not too far to get to all the sights and not too far from the station. We would have been happy to pay for a cooked breakfast if this was on offer.
