I loved staying at Purcell House. The room was quiet and comfortable and had recently been updated and modernized. There was easy bus access to both the city center and the airport. The setting is park-like and the breakfast was simple but adequate. I stayed here on two occasions during my four weeks in Ireland and would definitely stay here...

It was like a step back in Irish history. This beautifully kept building was a pleasant stay while studying in Ireland. We were treated like family with warm and comfortable rooms. While the campus is going through a transition Purcell House is quaint and a pleasant atmosphere. A definite stop over next visit.

Stumbled across this little gem on TA. What an experience from entering the gate, its so picturesque, beautiful buildings and surroundings. The staff are so warm and welcoming, especially the security staff. One eve, there were no teabags in my room and the guy on security gave me some of his own supply. The single rooms have as others have...

Very comfortable single accommodation. Huge en-suite shower room. All exceptionally clean and comfortable. Free wifi so didn't miss a TV. Slightly restricted breakfast if you don't like eggs. But lots of other pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice etc. Staff were wonderful, courteous and able to meet all of my needs over the weekend. Some lovely restaurants a short walk away on...

This is a lovely location, historic - buildings from the 1800s, wonderful grounds. Accommodation is simple, clean and very comfortable. Fully recommend it. Free wifi as well, staff very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of Dublin city centre and about a 10 minute drive from Dublin airport and about 5 minute drive from the M50, main archery road going...

A convenient location with ample parking. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and there is free wifi in the rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a hidden gem in a lovely setting. Sadly the future of Purcell House seems uncertain from September. Having just found it, I would prefer to stay there than in a hotel so...

Had the pleasure of staying here for 1 night. The single room and en-suite was spotlessly clean. Lovely bright room looking out onto the beautiful grounds. A 15 min bus ride will get you directly into the city centre. The breakfast was superb, huge selection of fresh and cooked food. The office staff couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommend...

I had a great weekend here. The rooms are small and basic but nice and clean. The locations is great, quiet but still very close to the city centre. There is a pub at stumbling distance which is very important for me. And above all the staff are so nice

Staff was friendly, location for where I needed to go was perfect, but a little out of the way for city centre, and hard to find if not in taxi. The accomodation was sufficient, but small. Rooms were small and simple, and out of date. Not a bad place, but felt more like retreat centre then hotel. In fairness it...

Just completed a pleasant two night stay at Purcell House and it was great, quiet, peaceful and a 10 minute bus ride in heavy traffic to the city centre. The grounds were beautifully kept and breakfast nice in a large dining room which gave you a sense of being in your own space.
