This very old pub has been upgraded superbly without losing any of the traditional ambiance. We were there for a an old firm reunion lunch and drinks (the entire afternoon), and everything was perfect. The buffet style meals were novel but satisfying. And of course, its city centre location is spot on!

We were able to walk to city in 5mins where restaurants, pubs and tours are. Accommodation was great with lots of space and nice ensuite - really good shower. This pub is closed on Sundays so we didn't get to eat there, except for breakfast.

Loved the way dinner worked with huge portions of fresh food at an affordable price served in a buffet-style line. A great selection of beer topped it off and we loved all the little sections and individual bars throughout. Everyone seems receptive to our presence and overall we loved dinner here. Only complaint is we got too much food to...

If you want to stay in a centrally located place in Dublin, this is the location. It is across the street from Trinity College, the bus stops and walking distance to Templebar. The facility is worldclass as a B and B. The owner greeted us, served us later in the bar and remembered our names. The room was wonderful. I...

Tired and hungry on arrival in Dublin my colleagues and I were directed to this pub as a recommendation for dinner. Well it was just lovely. Welcoming, hearty food (including a good choice of vegetarian options), sublime Guinness, great Irish music and Irish dancing. The perfect welcome to Ireland. Thank you. I absolutely recommend this place - tried to return...

Stayed here for three of nights in the three bedroom suite adjacent to the main B&B... Absolutely fantastic! The rooms had been recently refurbished to a great standard and cleaned daily. We didn't managed to get up in time to sample breakfast, partly because the Guinness was so good here! The meals are superb, especially the pies! Great bar staff...

Coming from the USA, we had no phones and found the place inaccessible until the bar opened. We ate there. Good food, friendly staff. However, management said something to the effect of 'Leave it to the Americans to sit in the wrong spot'. There was a 2 inch long piece of paper with the handwritten word 'reserved' on it. We...

Thank you for your review and I'm glad that you enjoyed our pub food and that you were also happy with your room. However I am disappointed to hear that you felt that you were not treated as well as other guests which I can assure you was certainly not intentional on our part. It was unfortunate that you got...

We were over for the Scotland Ireland Football match and had been recommended this pub after a search for hidden Dublin gems that are slightly off the beaten track. I am so glad that we found it because not only did it have a brilliant selection of beers, ale and cider, we were also astounded by the 12 year old...

O Neills was a brilliant place to stay, the room was a good size as was the shower room, and the shower was excellent. Lovely décor, very clean, nice homely breakfast room and the food was good and very well cooked. All in all a great place and convenient for everything - tour buses stop almost opposite, Dart station down...
