We recently stayed at the Sheldon park hotel and might I say I cannot fault the staff or their helpfulness the young lady at the reception desk when we checked in was incredibly helpful giving us all the information that we could have needed and...More
This Hotel is not bad but it does have some serious drawbacks that were only evident once we arrived. The location is in a very industrial busy area and is not the greatest area to look at. The view from our rear facing room looked...More
This is my 3rd time to Ireland, so this hotel is useable. If you are new to Dublin or not confident in your knowledge of area, I wouldn't recommend it. It is a quick walk to the Luas (train) and there is a gas station...More
While the receptionist said we were being given an upgrade at the back of the hotel – it turned out it wasn’t. When we got into the room, at first sight, it seemed clean and comfortable although there was a heavy ammonia smell about. As...More
Me and my friend came to stay for a weekend break in November. Love Dublin, not keen on the hotel. I asked for a twin room, we got given a double room without any explanation. We checked in, initial thoughts were that the staff were...More

Breakfast can be included by adding a fixed price to your double room charge. If you want a full (large) breakfast every day the price is lower than you can purchase separately. We paid the extra to have breakfast included. In retrospect, I would by breakfast separately, since some days we did not want a heavy breakfast. Note: Coffee is not included with the hotel rate, either. I do not know about you, but we need our coffee first thing. I was able to convince dining staff to allow me to come and get a cup of coffee from the restaurant without charging me, since we were entitled to coffee with our breakfast. One of the staff members objected and told me that I would have to pay extra for coffee separate from my meal. However, with a little persuasion she relented. I hope that answers your question. If not, I am happy to clarify.
