Went in, room looked ok - till we discovered horrific stains on bathroom floor, stains on sheets and radiator not working. Thought radiator might be on a timer so waited till we had a shower at night and still freezing, so went down to bar and explained situation - one of the guys from bar and hubby went up and... More

Came in here after the rugby game. Pub was jam packed but some how squeezed myself into a snug corner at the bar. Watching the bar staff work was great. They were all in a good mood, having the banter, polite and the most efficient bar staff I've ever met. Even with a packed pub they made it run smoothly.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights while in Dublin. I wanted something other than a traditional hotel and this was perfect. My room was very spacious and comfortable and the staff was friendly. It's a short walk from public transit, bus tours, and city centre.

We recently vacationed here with my husband and this was a nice bar very close to Grafton St. It was a nice break for lunch and a beer after shopping. Staff was great, reasonably priced and a good meal.

Stopped in for late lunch. Had the stew and it was delicious. There was a Irish band playing. Lots of people, lots of pints and a ton of fun. Loved it! If you want the feel of a real Irish pub give this five be a try.

Always good to drop in as it is just around the corner from the Merrion And Stephens Green. We went Wednesday night and Friday day. Absolutely heaving and people playing music both times. Everyone who has come over from England has enjoyed the atmosphere here. We met up with my parents who are in their 60s and they went back... More

Great music and a historic pub spoilt by the man behind the bar who has been there for years. I feel sorry for someone so miserable in their job. I go to this pub because of the history and great musicians.

This was a perfect spot for a home base to explore the city. The staff were wonderful and even carried our bags up the stairs for us! The location is extremely convenient. There's a grocery store across the street. The pub itself is amazing. Friendly, incredibly efficient bar staff, not quite as many tourists, and a few more locals. We... More

A great find following my visits to the tourist packed pubs in Temple Bar - why go to Ireland to meet tourists right?! I was exploring Dublin on my own, but felt safe. The band played for most of the night and the locals used the bar. The bar staff had a super efficient system on the go and no... More

“There's a small fridge in the lower cupboard of the armoire-- it's perfect for stowing fresh fruit, scones, jam, salads, etc., from a Tesco or the Spar store across the street--- Coffee & tea are provided in the room so this additional perk makes for economical breakfasts on the run or late evening snacks after a busy, busy day. ”
