Stayed four days, an introspective experience where one had to determine what level of neglect you can inflict upon yourself. Rooms were diminutive in the sense that Prince or a moth is. The WiFi signal was likely transmitted via a crude system of string and tin cans, thankfully text loaded just fine so I could read my friends boring statuses...

Room- too small, too cramped and too hot. Very noisy. Single glazing windows you can hear all the traffic all night long and it's on a busy road. Breakfast - Tragic - great places right beside the hostel! OConnells is amazing and cheap! Location - ideal ( this is where the hostel excels) Wifi- don't count on it Hostel it's...

Abby court is in the centre of town and is a short walk to any of the main attractions, it is also not overpriced. It is a very large hostel though and lacks any individual character, staff are helpful but not overly friendly. Good for a large group or a short stay.

Hey there. Thanks for the review. Ah we're sorry you felt that way! Maybe you just got the staff on a bad day as they usually get fantastic reviews. And we consider ourselves to have a lot of character with our funky little bar, hidden games room, unique art work, umbrella garden etc... but sometimes we're not to everyones fancy....

The hostel is simply lovely! It's in the heart of the city centre and surrounded by everything you could ever want to see in Dublin. The showers had plenty of hot water and the breakfast is simple, but satisfying. And of course, the people that work there are simply wonderful.

Some friends and I spent a weekend and we did not have hot water any of the 4 days we were there, we complaint the first day and it dis not change. In the room were not enough plugs, no windows, cold during nights. Very uncomfortable, the ony good thing was that it was close to centre.

Our mixed dorm room was clean and most of the people were great; however, in the middle of the night (literally at 4 am) a group of rugby players came in really drunk and turned on the lights while waking our group as well as all the other people in the room up. One tried to climb into my bed,...

I have stayed in an apartment at Abbey Court twice now and back again next week. It has provided me and my colleague with an inexpensive and more convenient alternative to staying in a hotel in Dublin while on business. Abbey Court is brilliantly located in the centre of Dublin with airport buses stopping a stone's throw away. Flat facilities...
