The room itself was OK and we slept OK but there was street noise throughout the night and more so in the mornings even from the 3rd floor so if you are a light sleeper I wouldn't bother. The bathroom was a joke - so tiny and with shoddy repairs. The shower head wasn't sitting properly so we had to... More

Perfect for a short stay. Single room on the ground floor. Clean and tidy. Nice breakfast even if I had to miss it on the second night to catch my flight! Ten minute walk from the river. Good value on the nights I stayed. Made to feel very welcome.

Anyone who's written a decent review of this place most certainly didn't stay in the same room we did because our experience was entirely different. First the positives: The location is fairly good, the breakfast was decent (but nothing special) and the owner made an effort to be helpful (although the only way he could have been oblivious to the... This Traveller Review came as a shock when I read it today. We at Fatima House have been enjoying high TripAdvisor Traveller Ratings for the last 2 years (88-90%) and I am afraid, in this case, it appears that we have failed to keep standards up. The room in question i.e. Room 10 is at the front of the house... More

I personally loved the historical mood of the interior decorations. Good Irish breakfast. I thank both the owner and the stuffs for their having constantly been caring and informative during my stay. Convenient location not much away from the O'Connell Street. Surely good value for the price.
