The Ferry House was our first B&B experience and they set the bar high. Eammon, Pauline, and their son, Rowan were so friendly and welcoming and the house is beautiful. No matter which of the three prepared breakfast, it was plentiful and delicious. They all...More
This B&B is ideal for a stay in the lovely South Dublin coastal town of Dún Laoghaire. The best thing about the accommodation is the friendliness of the proprietor, Pauline. She is very welcoming indeed and makes guests feel at home straight away.

I, too, found the owner's son (who was in charge during my visit) very accommodating. Why don't you give them a ring to ask? BTW, I found it a good place to stay. I'll certainly be using it next time I pass through Dun Laoghaire (and might even use it when I have business in Dublin - access to the City Centre by the DART railway line is so easy).

My advice would be to get the 703 AirCoach to / from the airport to Glasthule (St Joseph's Church). Departs Terminal 1 on the hour (Terminal 2 a couple of minutes later), every hour and 4 mins past the hour from Glasthule and takes about 45 mins. You would need to be on the 4.04am coach to the airport for your 6.45 flight. The fare is €8 a single ticket which can be bought on the coach. The coachstop at Glasthule is approx 5/10 mins walk to the B&B. The DART doesn't run to the airport. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ferry House, I had a great stay there recently and would use it again should the need arise. Eamonn and Pauline are great hosts.
